My father is in Rockaway Care Center. It's terrible. I wouldn't even give it one star. I don't like anything about it. It's dirty. Nobody's nice. Nobody communicates well. They don't call you back. They don't email back promptly. Some people just don't answer at all. It says they offer activities, but I didn't see anything going on. They have extremely old TVs. We're like the only people who visit. There's no one around. The room size is small. They have two occupants in each room. The guy he's with doesn't even speak. There's absolutely nothing to do. It's boring, small, and gross. The people there are either not nice or have no clue what they're doing.

My wife is not being treated nicely at Rockaway Care Center. Her meals are five hours late all the time. She dropped her phone in the water and I wasn't told about that until two months later. I left a message yesterday for Alicia, the head of the social workers, but I haven't received a call back. Yesterday I called and the receptionist hung up on me. They were very rude. It was a clean building, but it's pretty disorganized downstairs when you come in. There's people in wheelchairs bumping into you. They claimed it's a nursing home, but to me it's more like a psychiatric place, because they have people talking to themselves, talking to the wall. I brought her flowers and a guy tried to steal it from me, and they're very rude to her.
