Highpointe On Michigan

My brother is staying in Highpointe On Michigan for long-term care. The people who work there are magnificent. They are friendly and caring. I'm so impressed with these people because I know they have stressful jobs, but they always have a smile on their faces, and they answer your questions. If they don't know the answers, they get the answers. They are just wonderful. I did not try the food, but my brother hasn't complained, so that says something. The facility is clean, my brother is clean, and the rooms are kept clean. They care about their patients. They have bingo and giant checkers. They can keep them busy all day long every day. The size of the rooms is medium. He can't walk, so it doesn't matter.

I visited a family at HighPointe on Michigan. The staff was good, and the room was clean and spacious. The garden was nice. They had a recreational area and a community room.

I placed my father in HighPointe on Michigan. I think it's a great facility. It's clean and well kept. I have no problems with HighPointe whatsoever. He went in for subacute rehab and he's just waiting for a long-term bed now. He's gonna stay there. The staff is extremely helpful and alleviated my nervousness in the process that everything he has to go through. They're extremely helpful and gonna be there every step of the way to help me through the situation. Value for money is very good. His room is very good. I even assisted my dad to the lavatory once already. It's extremely easy. They got a raised toilet seat in there for him, and we had no problem. I've been there for a meal that he had and I had no problem with the meal. He didn't eat much of it though. He drank his Ensure Plus, his peaches, and his apple juice. They brought him some more apple juice, which he drank while I was there. The staff members were very friendly and they've been so helpful already with the whole situation. The place was immaculate. They have little alcoves where you can go outside and sit on benches and tables that we've been out on already. They have an activities room and it's very large. They have a kitchen, but they're not using it because of COVID. They have a big dining room, but meals are going to the rooms right now.
