The Horizon Center is located in the quiet, coastal neighborhood of Arverne, New York. Registered nurses are available 24 hours a day to supervise patients and assist them with treatment and medication. Each clinician at this facility is trained to administer a number of medical treatments to seniors, including post-orthopedic surgery, aggressive post-stroke care, IV therapy and pain management. With help from state-of-the-art equipment, staff members are also equipped to treat the needs of rehabilitation patients.Residents at this facility have access to various amenities that help support their recovery and well-being. The Therapeutic Recreation Department grants seniors access to computers with internet access, smart TVs and a kitchenette for cooking groups.
