My mother is in The Courville at Bedford - Carlyle. They're probably one of the top-notch facilities, beautiful grounds, and the inside is beautiful. One of the big things is they have activities every day for the residents to keep them busy and entertained. They have people come in and perform, even if it's just a piano student who wants to rehearse somewhere. They just provide a lot of opportunities for the residents there. The staff are all sociable and very nice. The food is pretty good. It costs a lot, but they do a lot too.

My mother will be moving into The Courville at Bedford - Carlyle. What I like about it is it's small, so I feel that there will be more personalized care. The staff was very upbeat, very positive, and very nice. They seemed to care about their residents. They gave my mom some food to take home with her, and I ate the cookies. The cookies were good. It seemed very updated and very clean. The residents all seemed to be very happy. It seemed welcoming. The dining area was set up similar to a restaurant. I toured some facilities that it was more like a cafeteria with big tables. This place had little tables with four people sitting, so it seemed more pleasant.

I liked The Courville at Bedford - Carlyle. The place was nice and clean, and their program was very complete. But my husband needs a secured facility and I can't put him in a place where he can walk out on his own. The staff was extremely nice and cordial. There were a lot of them, so they could pay a lot of attention to their residents because there were only 37 residents there. The room that I saw was very nice, very clean, and very organized. They had a library, a hair salon, and a gym.

I toured The Courville at Bedford - Carlyle. The rooms that I saw had dark colors. My mom wouldn't go for that. She likes light colors. The staff seemed fine. They were doing some kind of class that had to do with history or geography. It doesn't look that big. It was all on one floor, so I think it was a pretty good layout. A lot of the staff members have been there for quite a while, and I like that. They had a separate room for arts or any projects there. I saw a library, which was nice. It seemed like there were some woods around it, so it was nice. You could walk along the pathways outside.

The Courville at Bedford-Carlyle was really nice and very pleasant. They have a small residential community, and they wanted it that way. The grounds were gorgeous and my father-in-law loved it quite a bit. Jen toured us around and she was fantastic. The staff had been there for a long time and many people were there for double -igit years. So, they all know each other and they trust each other. The residents all know them very well, too, which is a very good thing. They had an arts and crafts area, a common area with movies, a nice library, and outings where they go out to a place or a restaurant, but in-house, there's not a whole lot. The rooms were also very dark, but they were very well-kept.

Carlyle Place was a small place, and the staff seemed very nice and very friendly. I liked them. The residents have one room, and I felt that it was more like a nursing home setting. The dining area looked fine though, and we talked to the chef and I think he makes things for the residents, especially the foods that they like, which is nice. They have little concerts outside, which all places do, and they had some grounds, maybe a couple of acres. It just didn't seem to be as active as the other places we went to, but that was just an impression from a short visit.

My Mom has been living at Carlyle Place for almost two years. I could not be more pleased with her care. All of the employees are warm and friendly and provide excellent care. From the moment she moved in, she felt quite comfortable. It's been a great experience for us both.

Carlyle Place was very well cared for. I saw their library, their cafeteria where they have lunch, and some of the rooms. The only thing I didn't like was you have to share a room and a bathroom. The staff was great, and the residents were happy enough. They had a TV room, a bathing room where they can help you bathe, and a garden outside. It was very well done. They had security in order to get into the building. It's well-maintained.

Carlyle Place seemed like a very comfortable place to stay and the people seemed happy enough. They were doing some construction when we walked in. It was clean and it didn't smell bad. It's an older facility, but it seemed very well kept. The staff was very friendly. We looked at a couple of rooms, and it's some place I wouldn't want to stay, but for an elderly person who's all alone, it might work just fine because it's small. They have a whirlpool. Some of the amenities were a little outdated because of the age of the facility.

I had a very good impression of Carlyle Place. The facility that we saw was nicely cared for and was in a nice location, but it was further from where my mother is from. The staff during the tour was great, very nice, and very informative. The dining area was fine. Everything was nice there. They seemed to be well staffed. The residents seemed happy and they said they liked the food.

Carlyle Place was wonderful but it wasn't meant for us. The director was just outstanding. The rooms were OK. The director told us we were not ready for that kind of place. The residents were much older than we are and more debilitated. The people in the dining room, and the people we met as we walked through were very friendly and warm. We had lunch with the director, and it was good. The chef and the waiters were very nice. Ther residents there looked happy, but there were fewer women than men.

Carlyle offered my sister social activity for her mind, physical therapy for her body, and three good meals. She’s been there since the end of March. They have Yoga, Tai-chi, mind games, Bingo, and current events.

Courville at Carlyle was a nice and clean facility. The staff was okay and they got good amenities like swimming pools, etc. However, the room that I looked at was too small for me.
