"My sister and I contacted Home Instead in North Andover at a difficult moment, when our father began to exhibit signs of serious mental decline that called for 24/7 assistance, when we each lived some three hours away, in Rhode Island and Connecticut. Within a day or two of our reaching out, the amazing staff had constructed — somehow — a team of caregivers who were with Dad in 6- or 12-hour shifts, consistently, patiently, gently and generously. We frankly were stunned at both the speed of HISC’s response, and the manner with which every aide approached the tasks of being with a very intelligent, private, confused and often obstreperous 89-year old New England Yankee. Everyone to a person has been great: professional, attentive, communicative and able to deal with virtually any issue. We are so grateful. We’ve often looked at each other, wondered what we would have done without this service, and how we might possibly have handled the situation on our own. In a word, we couldn’t."

"I have a very positive response about Homewatch CareGivers. I'm very comfortable having them for my wife. They help her with bathing, they do game playing, and they supervise her lunch. I'm dealing with some other people now, not the people that we had initially, but the transition was seamless and very positive. I'm very happy with who we got."

"I honestly can not say enough about Home Instead! My mother in law was living with us and quickly became unable to care for herself while we were at work. Donna and Terri came out and were wonderful. They explained all the services they provided and spent time speaking with my mother in law. We hired them and their staff was just as wonderful as they were. They took my her shopping, went for walks and made her breakfast and lunch. They were caring and loving to her and stayed in touch during the day via text. They were never late and any questions we had were answered immediately. If you have a loved one that needs care this is the place!! "

"BAYADA Assistive Care is relatively new to New Hampshire. I used their service for four weeks. They were terrific. They met my hours, their pricing was fair, and the person that they sent me did a great job. She took me shopping, she helped clean the house, and she helped me shower. I would recommend her to anybody. She was just exceptional. I love BAYADA. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Their pricing was excellent. I thought they had the best pricing. They're the most flexible about the hours that they could give. They had essentially no minimum hours, so that was very good for me as I recovered."

"My mom is now staying with me. I hired someone from Guardian Angel Services to help care for her a couple of days a week. We interviewed many different agencies, and they were very open about what to expect from them. They came to the home first with one interview just to talk about their place and what they provide. Then when they had someone that they felt would be a good match for my mother, we had a meet and greet, you could say. The woman came over with the manager, and we just sat and all talked and got to know her, the person that would be caring for my mom, for them to both have a good fit. She's a lovely person, and the process has been very good to have everything come together and they've been very accommodating."

"My daughter was living in NH and was put on IV's beginning in February of this year. Her doctor recommended Critical Care Systems to oversee the administration of the medications at home. The visiting nurses had to teach her how to care for her PICC line and instructed her on her meds. She had visiting nurses at least once per week who were very thorough in their care and their instruction etc. Someone was also available by phone if necessary, 24 hrs per day. That is peace of mind at 2AM for sure! She always told me how patient, compassionate and empathetic her nurses were. I had the opportunity to go to NH and meet 2 of her nurses in March and I was very impressed! They were kind, compassionate and explained everything to me- they instructed me on what I needed to do since I was unfamiliar with it all. They never rushed us and took the time we needed to feel comfortable with everything. They even helped me by letting me take notes so I could refer to them if needed. She is no longer on IV's and has since moved from NH, but we will never the forget the compassion and kindness of the staff and nurses at Critical Care Systems! I hope they get to read this :-) and know we appreciated them. "

"We're using MAS Home Care for my mom because we needed one that took Medicaid. Currently they do light housework once a week and hygiene stuff for three to four hours. So far everything is routine or recurring. The billing has so far been pretty automatic since we're paying through Medicaid; initially it was private pay. The caregiver who's assisting my mom is great, she is very present, and pays attention to my mom. She's considering Mom's needs, but knowledgeable enough to be able to coax her and make her comfortable enough so that she can help her without making her feel like a helpless senior."

"I've been very impressed with Visiting Angels in Auburn, NH. They have been very accommodating in trying to meet my wife's needs. The caregivers have been very good. Some have been better than the others, but they've all been above average. They take care of my wife while I'm not at home and they will sometimes do the vacuuming and floor cleaning for us when we need it. They have accommodated us as much as possible. Like so many others these days, they are having problems in fully staffing, but they have worked with us to take care of our needs the best that they can."

"We did use Home Helpers for about a month. They were great. They were very pleasant, very nice, and very willing to do anything. They helped out him getting something for snacks and helping him to drink, they read reviews and newspapers with him, and they helped him with his crafts. I would recommend them for any type of assistance you would need at home. It was a very positive experience. They made my husband very comfortable. "
