I had one that was so bad, my mother sent her home, and I got charged for the full time. She did less hours, and I still got charged. It's hard because she didn't do anything. We only had them for three days.
It started with the nurse coming out to do the assessment. She was late, and then every nurse was late. I was charged for the full time, and if they went over five or ten minutes, they charged extra.
We provided only 6 shifts for this client before she was moved to a hospice facility. The Case Manager was late for the appointment do to the apartment being hard to locate. We provided an emergency assessment for this family and coordinated care immediately. The client declined quicky and was unaware of the compliants made by the family.
