"Our home is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is surrounded by tall oak trees and large spruce trees. Large windows in every room offer lovely views of the gardens and wildlife. We are specialized in rehabilitation following hospitalization or injury, providing memory care for residents and Alzheimer’s and Dementia, disease management (COPD, CHF, Parkinson’s Disease, etc), fall prevention, and end-of-life care in conjunction with Hospice. Our home is designed to maximize the independence and safety of our residents, while also engaging them in cognitive and physical activities. Our resident physical therapist works hard with our residents to tailor an exercise regime that enables residents to both maintain their independence and regain it. We have friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate staff. They work hard to engage with our residents, so that they feel safe and at home through conversation, activity, and reassurance. We maintain open communication with physicians, perform daily health checks, and provide therapeutic exercise in order to reduce re-hospitalizations. Danile's Home is a private pay option for seniors who will benefit from our specialized care. The home is owned by an experienced physical therapist, who lives in the home. Our residents are extended family. Our goal is for them to stay in our home long-term. We can provide a high level of care.
