My mom lived at Country Gardens for two months. The experience has been wonderful. The staff was friendly. The place was very clean. She loves the food. She couldn't have had a better experience. We chose a one-room apartment with a handicapped bathroom. We didn't choose a separate bedroom this time because it was easier for her to get around. They have daily activities, which range from ice cream socials, to bingo, dice, and music. Every day is a different activity. They have a courtyard and they have a private dining room for families. They have two activity rooms. They have a library. They have a room with a fireplace you can enjoy. They have a nutrition station where you can help yourself with snacks and beverages.

Overall, I had a very good experience with this facility each time I was there to visit my grandmother. I could tell that she was receiving the care that she needed as she neared the end of her battle with cancer. Her room was always impeccably clean, and there were numerous activities such as manicures or bingo nights that she could partake in. Though she often could not eat much, she liked that each week she was given a menu to choose what she wanted to eat for her meals. The nurses helped her to speak with my mother and other relatives about her final wishes in a calm and stable setting, and I believe that helped everyone to accept the situation and focus on what my grandmother needed rather than little family disputes. I would definitely recommend Country Gardens to anyone looking for a safe and trustworthy environment for a relative to reside in. The facility itself is very well-maintained and the staff members are friendly and truly caring.
