We chose Well Homed for my dad and we're very well pleased. They're very good to him, and we're really happy with it so far. They're very attentive to Dad. He is not able to partake in all of the activities, but they have something to do just about every day, like bingo, games, and crafts. They do the laundry and they have beauticians and barbers available weekly.

So far everything has been just fine, and everyone at Singerly Manor has been very helpful. They have good sized rooms.

It was recommended by a friend of mine who I've known for a long time. We chose it because of the caring people who worked there and the fact that it was very nice and clean, and she's very well-kept. I like that my parent is well taken care of, and she's treated with a lot of love and respect. She's been there for over a year. It's a nice, small place, and it's more like a family. We've been there when they're preparing the food. It's healthy food, and it always smells good when they're cooking it. They play bingo, and they also do arts and crafts. They go out on field trips in nice weather. They have people who come once a week to sing, and they get to sing with them if they want to. When we found Singerly Manor, not once did we smell anything in there, and the girls care about the people who live there. The manager is someone who, any time they need anything for Nancy, they always let us know right away, or anything that we want done for her. We're just very pleased all the way around. She gets good care.

The people at Singerly Manor were very helpful. They were helpful in the paperwork. The facility was nice, it has a home setting with two wings off of it. Their bedrooms looked like hospital rooms though, and I didn’t like that. All of them are shared rooms; they just have a bed and nightstand and a curtain that sectioned them off from each other. The staff was really good.
