Sylvia Ross Home at Ross Manor is very attractive, very welcoming, and very clean. My friend has been there for about six months now and she's very pleased. They have great care. They come in and do vitals, and you can stay there and graduate into more serious health issues. It's right there, so you don't have to go off and find another place. The food is good. She loves it. There's always some kind of entertainment going on. The fact is, I'm jealous of what she has. Nobody entertains me or washes my floors. They do everything for you. She's got a washer and dryer in her room and a nice bathroom. It's a one-bedroom, and it's very pleasant, very sunshiny, and lovely. The staff is excellent and knowledgeable. The only complaint my friend has that lives there is that the directory is missing. It tells you where a person is, and it's hard for people to come to find somebody. Other than that, everything's good. They do different things. They have bingo. She had to give up her car when she went there, and it was hard to do some of the things that she was used to doing, like having her hair done. They went beyond the call of duty to get her to places that she needed to go. I've been to some of the things that they've had there. I think that she's happy, and her brother oversees her money, and he's satisfied with what she gets for her money.
