This is an excellent nursing home, I have worked here as a volunteer and planning to get an actually paid job. So it highly recommend it.

This facility is very old and out of date. Four residents share one bathroom. Rooms are small, no place for family to visit with residents. Our Mother now has a bed sore and I was told it was healing, however it has gotten worst and now she has another one. They were using the wrong cream and now she has a yeast infection. We have a complaint in against this facility.

All in all the staff was very accomodating. My grandfather admittedly wasn't the best resident and caused quite a lot of problems, but the staff remained professional and maintained quality care. The facilities could be improved to include more space for activities. While visiting him, I noticed that a lot of other residents were roaming the halls, and seemed as if they weren't being monitored closely enough. It was concerning because some were ambulatory. My grandfather was bedridden, so this issue didn't relate to him. I also noticed that residents didn't seem to have enough activities to keep them busy, which probably contributed to their roaming. Our church became involved and began providing outreach programs and visitation to the residents, which was greatly appreciated by home. Overall, our experience was positive. Due to our financial limitations, this was the best choice for our situation. For any reason in the future there was need for assisted living, I would definitely consider using this facility again.
