Assisted Living Reviews for Two Hearts Homes for Seniors

I am/was a resident of this facility

I'm in Two Hearts Homes For Seniors. It's great, the room is big, and it's the biggest room they have. The staff is great, and the food is good. For each holiday, they make stuff. We make hearts and stuff like that. I don't know all the activities, but they're nice.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

The caregiver team at the Two Hearts has been amazing with my mom. They are attentive, caring, communicative and kind and I feel lucky to have found this home for my mom.  They do an amazing job of knowing what each resident enjoys and trying to make sure they feel the best they can at all times. Janel is great about updating our family and making sure we know whats going on.

I visited this facility

We recently toured Two Hearts and found the facility to be brand new. The size seemed right as well - not too large, not insanely large. The staff seemed kind and friendly as well. We're considering this home for our mother when the time is right.

Provider Response

Thank you for the kind words.

There are also many family members that come in frequently and either sit and talk with the residents or play games.

Who assesses residents' health and cognitive functioning? How often is that assessment repeated?

Every month, our house-call doctor/nurse practitioner comes and sees all of the residents. Caregivers are also trained to report to management if they feel that a resident is not acting like his/herself. Then management immediately notifies the NP or will call appropriate assistance (911 if needed).

How does Two Hearts Homes for Seniors keep residents' families informed about their loved ones' health?

Management/Caregivers typically text the families once a week to update them. Most of the time this is not necessary as families frequently visit their loved ones at Two Hearts. Family members are very much a part of the home themselves.
