"Colonial Village was very nice. The dining room was also very nice. They have a lot of activities like crafting twice a week, and there's a washer and dryer there that I can use. The lady who showed me around, Melissa, was very friendly. As we were walking by the kitchen, I could smell home cooked bread. It has a very homey feel."

"I went to Arabella of Longview. It was a nice place. Everything that I saw when we took our tour was wonderful. It was well-maintained. The rooms were nice, and we were interested in the 2-bedroom apartment. It was clean. The staff that I talked to were nice and helpful. The food was excellent. There are a lot of activities there. They had a theater, arts, cards, and dominoes."

"My father has been living at Arabella of Kilgore. Everybody's been extremely supportive and gracious, and they work with us. They love my father and they feel honored to have him there. They are making an effort to connect with him and to help him have some good and meaningful experiences, which is all we can hope for really. My father has a 2-bedroom apartment."

"My purpose in visiting Parkview on Hollybrook was to educate myself regarding available facilities for senior care. At 85 years of age, it's time to get rid of the big house and move into something much smaller. The extended living apartments at Parkview on Haoolybrok are excellent. They are not tiny little things, squashed into a building. Instead, they are nice apartments, as you would find in a conventional apartment complex. I enjoyed a meal at the facility, which was excellent. In addition, I met many of their staff. All I would rate as excellent. I have not made a decision yet as to where we may go, but I can assure you, Parkview on Hollybrook is still at the top of my list. It is an excellent facility."
