"I went to Whispering Pines Lodge I, but it was more of a nursing facility and my cousin didn't need that. She would have a shared bedroom, and it just didn't fit my cousin. It's a little bit older. It was more of a hospital atmosphere. The staff was wonderful. She wouldn't have gotten choices there. You just eat what they give you. They had bingo that was going on while I was there and they just had a Halloween party."

"This is a smaller, older nursing home so it is not as 'pretty' as some of the other local facilities but the staff is what makes the difference. They have many employees that have been there a long time and will remember your family. They provide top notch care and are sensitive to special needs or circumstances. We had our mother in three other facilities are various times but settled on this one when needed."

"I chose Carthage Healthcare Center for my aunt. I chose them because I am in Carthage daily. It is in the same town that I go to every day, so I can see her there more frequently. It reminds me of an old fashion house. It is really cute and clean. The staff I met were all kind, very helpful, and willing to figure out how to make a situation work best for the patients that they have."

"When my wife was admitted she suffered from memory loss and prone to falling. I had no idea what to expect but due to the diligence of the staff her memory loss and ability to navigate without assistance has improved significantly. The entire staff is friendly and willing to assist in any way possible. The facility has bingo, Pastor visits and singing groups that the residents enjoy very much. The facility is kept sparkling clean at all times which is comforting to me. Last but not least, the staff has become like family to me and my wife."

"As the primary caregiver for a senior neighbor/friend who fell and broke her hip, the challenges arising from the Covid pandemic have been more numerous than I can count. When my neighbor was unable to return to her home, Summer Meadows worked with her insurance to provide her ongoing rehab and did a wonderful job in helping her regain her mobility. My friend has been exceedingly pleased with the care she has received and has highly complimented the quality of the food and her CNAs and nurses (who have been good to call with physician appointments and any changes in status). Of greatest commendation is the therapy crew who went above and beyond to get her back on a regular diet and up on her feet. My thanks to them all."

"Longview Hill Nursing And Rehabilitation Center had the secure dementia unit that we were looking for, and it was only women, so that was important. It was clean, bright, didn't smell bad, and the staff and the residents that we saw on the tour looked happy and satisfied. We also had a family there in the past and they said they were good. Medicaid only pays for a semi-private, so that's what my mom will have. It's in a secure hallway that they can't get out of without somebody who knows the code. Each semi-private room has a bathroom and a shower. This had a toilet, sink, and shower that just the two people in the room had to share. They also do therapy. We looked at the list of activities on the board and they had a lot going on, like bingo and stuff. They have their own little sitting area with a TV, couches, and tables, and then they have their own enclosed little courtyard that they can go in and out of. Everything was nice looking. It's been recently remodeled and it was bought out by Regency Health Services, I believe, just last year."

"my mother lived there for many years and recently died. they took great care of mother...they loved her !! I just can't tell them the nurses...so many that took care of mom !! you know who you are bringing fresh flowers and even singing Hank Williams with her!! You made her life happy and lets not forget ...you guys spoiling her too with food from "STACEY's "!!!! " My mother was in this facility for a week. We visited everyday and met many awesome caring people. She lost her life due to a stroke while there. They could not have been more professional and accommodating during this difficult time. Many thanks to Sharonda the head nurse that help the transition go smoothly. Precious Chelsea and Courtney were so good to my mother. Many more that I cannot remember the names. A couple of condemns arose and I met with Sharonda and personnel that corrected our concerns. I would definitely recommend Treviso. Thank you all so very much. "

"My friend was at The Center at Grande. That was a good place. They had good food there. He went to physical therapy. He liked having bacon every morning with his breakfast. He liked the food. His room was nice and clean. He even would have his TV on sometimes. And they took him to his doctor's appointment. I'll meet them at the doctor's office. He went and got a haircut and his beard shaved off, and he had a manicure and a pedicure. I never saw the dining area, but he always ate his meals in his room. They had a little activity room. If they were busy or if he was in therapy, I went in and worked on a puzzle. There was a little activity room. There was an outdoor space, but I never went and checked it out. I could see it from the parking lot. I'm not sure how big it was because I only saw part of it. I think daily he had physical therapy, Monday through Friday."

"My friend was at Waterton Healthcare & Rehabilitation. I didn't like it. There was a conflict with the medication. Before he had emergency surgery, he could dress himself and get coffee and make cereal in the morning. And now, he couldn't even sit down by himself when he came back. They overdosed him. They didn't listen to me when I told them the medication wasn't right. The staff was not very friendly. In the 20 days he was there, they moved him to three different rooms, and I don't know why. The rooms were nice. They were clean and he had physical therapy there. When my friend went there from the hospital, he was talkative and interactive and he could carry on a conversation. However, the last few times I went to visit, he was tired and sleepy. When I went to get him, he couldn't walk by himself and he couldn't even sit down anymore. The facility was nice, new, and clean. When he went there, he was able to walk with a cane, and then, later on, he couldn't walk by himself, and they never said anything about it. "

"My mother is here. I could not ask for a more caring down to earth staff to take care The staff goes out of their way to make sure she is taken care of. It is a nursing home you will have problems from time to time, but I feel the nurses in the office Kelly & Judy take care of the problem promptly. I feel often people are hard on nursing homes and employees. It is what it is. If you loved one is taken care of, and happy, then I say that's more than enough. I cant take care of her at home and if you have put a loved one in a home then obviously you can't or don't want to either. "
