"Visiting Angels have been taking care of my mom for two and a half months now. What we're using them for, they do more than that. She is 90 years old, has dementia, and couldn't remember if she broke her hip, so we have to have someone watching her. She would always try to get up and she's been having sundowners, wanting to leave the house and walk out in the street and things like that. They help her if she gets tired or starts falling, help her bathe, and do things around the house. We have one person that does it Monday through Friday during the day, and we have one of their night people. Then we supplement a couple of days a week because they do 12-hour shifts and you can't work more than five days, that would be too hard. My mother doesn't eat much but they cooked her bacon and eggs in the morning and some soup in the afternoon. They've done the laundry too but I don't require them to do that because their main job is to watch her. I'm very happy with them."
