Silver Glen Senior Living is very well-organized, well-run, and extremely clean, and the ones that I visited with there seemed to be pretty satisfied with the facility. The executive director's father lives there. I think it's a place I would consider if I could afford it, but it's a little bit out of my range. They have game rooms and workout facilities. They have a room for everything. The staff was very knowledgeable. They've been in the business a long time. I didn't need anything, but they've got it laid out so that you're pretty well taken care of. I saw a menu.

We are moving into Silver Glen Senior Living. The place was beautiful. It looked very clean and very well taken care of. We chose a cottage that had 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a 2-car garage, all connected. They had different activities that interested us, and everyone was very friendly. They had walking paths, physical therapy and occupational therapy, a movie theater, a beauty shop, and a barber shop, and they had many different clubs that you could join. They had transportation within 10 miles of the area. Every time we went there, they were taking care of the garden and they were taking care of the grass. It seemed like they were keeping up with the outside setting.

I liked Silver Glen Senior Living. I liked the apartments, the people, the grounds, and their programs on how they can take care of me. I wanted one that has independent living, assisted, and then memory care so that I may never have to leave again. They have puzzles, a theater, a lot of community rooms, a lot of programs scheduled, and a dining room. I was very pleased. There's a pavilion and a fairly large outdoor space, then in certain parts of the grounds there were more green paths. The two-bedroom apartment I chose would be on the third floor, and it looks out over a pond with a fountain. They have a doctor that comes in a couple of times a month and there's a garage for my car with lots of storage.
