I can not rave enough about Encore Care. They took such great care of my father while he was there. The staff is always personable, and they really are part of a big family. There are always activities going on and they residents are treated with dignity. The property is clean, and well maintained. There is honestly nothing bad I can say.

I visited this facility
My husband will be moving into Encore Memory Care at Crystal Lake. They look like they're doing more activities. There were a lot more staff there. The facility looked pretty clean. My husband is getting his own room. Even though it's a double room, for a while he won't be sharing it, so he's going to be happy with that. I got to meet the entire staff, and they were very friendly. A lot of the people there were out and would talk to you. They all sat around and did pretty much nothing. I tried the food, and it was pretty good. They seem to have a lot of room for my husband to move around. They have a couple of private dining rooms where we could do a family thing with him.

My mom is a resident of Encore Memory Care at Crystal Lake. It is very good. I thought it is a good fit for my mom and it is very convenient for our families' homes. The care is good. There are separate little apartments. It's a smaller memory care community and the staff is very caring.

This wonderful group of caregivers put their hearts into the care they give the residents of this community. The residents have varying degrees of memory loss yet all are treated with respect, kindness and patience by staff. The staff is aware of each resident's needs and preferences and accommodate them accordingly. There is laughter and smiles in the building as the staff engages residents and family throughout the day. Having experienced all that this community has to offer for the past two years during our parent's stay here, I would recommend this facility to those in need of a memory care/assisted living facility for a family member.

They’re very nice, very friendly, and very supportive over here. It’s very close for us to go see my dad. My wife has a relative that is there as well, so they have people that can talk to each other. They have all kinds of different scheduled events. You can take him out and bring him back whenever you want. He’s very happy there. The staff is very helpful, very supportive, and very quick to do whatever the residents need. They know everyone by first and last name. They know everybody there on a personal basis. They also have a doctor that comes down to check and make sure everybody is doing OK.

I visited this facility
I was most happy with my visit here, and I felt that they did an excellent job. The staff was wonderful. They explained everything very carefully. They took me to the whole facility and let me observe what is going on. It was very, very clean. The rooms were nice, and there's a lot that they do there. They have nurses on duty, and it was just a full-care place. They do have activities -- like they were doing some group games. They also have an art room. They have a lot of things around for their residents.

We liked it when we visited there. The place was clean and everybody was friendly. It was more homey and the outdoor surrounding was pleasant.
