"We toured Antebellum James Burgess. The staff was very nice. The lady who took us around was very polite. It was an older building. It smelled like urine, but I know that sometimes that's present around older people. However, I have toured other facilities where that wasn't there. It was a older and not as up-to-date esthetically as some of the other places I've seen. The location was nice. The building itself, from the outside, was very pretty, and the inside was pretty spacious."

"My mother lives at Wisdom Well Living. Finally I have peace of mind knowing that she is taken care of. They spend quality time with each resident and since it is a small facility that makes it possible. It is kept neat and clean and all of the meals are delicious. It is obvious with the care they give that Beatrice and David are passionate about their care giving. I would highly recommend Wisdom Well Living if you are looking for care for your loved one. "

"Celebration Village Forsyth was really nice. The staff members were good, very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The rooms were nice. They had a nice alternative dining area there. Everything was well kept. We looked at the 1-bedroom units. They were really nice and had everything we needed. The grounds were well kept. There were people in the gym. We went there during lunchtime, so a lot of people were eating."

"This is a very nice facility. Myself and a few of my interns came here and volunteered. Mostly everyone was active whether playing a simple board game or doing some light aerobics. The environment was very peaceful and pleasant. "

"I visited both assisted living and memory care at Oaks at Hampton. In the assisted living part, the halls were very small. It was kind of dark. It had the one-room. It was definitely not for our family. It was clean, and the staff members were very nice. I know the director of that place over there. I know her very well. She played piano for us at one of the church services that we did. I know her, so I have been to that place quite often as a tour. It was just not for my mother-in-law, and I was looking for a place that suited her. It's very nice and they got good activities. I have been in the activity room when they were doing puzzles and bingo. When that was going on, the activities were very good. The only reason I can't give it a 5 is because there's long hallways, and they're dark. It wasn't very cheery."

"My mother has been at Sunrise of Johns Creek since August, 2015. She has been on The Terrace Club floor since her arrival. My sister and i have been very pleased with the overall care she has received. My mom has severe memory loss and many other medical issues and the staff has Sunrise has worked with us every step of the way. The clinical and medical care she receives is excellent."

"Dad was at Heartis Suwanee for respite under memory care. It's a small community with large rooms. They got great food and great activities. He had three full meals plus snacks. They present the residents with a menu before the day and let them pick what they want. They had daily devotionals, trips outside, and games. It was very new and modern."

"The staff and the amenities at Lake Springs (Brookdale South Lee Buford) were very good. The living quarters were nice and the services they provided were excellent. The food in the dining area was served restaurant-style, and my father enjoyed it. It has a country style setting with rocking chairs on the porches. They had a lot of activities going on every day. "I toured the Regency House of Buford. Everyone we met was very accommodating and very personable. The person we talked to was very good. They showed us the whole thing. They showed us where they eat and where they have activities. They showed us their apartments. It was a very positive one. We saw the studio and one-bedroom apartments. They have a calendar full of activities. All of them were the same. They all have morning devotions and exercises at 10:00 a.m.. They go out for lunch once a month or once a week, something like that. It was well-maintained, and the staff was very helpful."

"We went to Village Park Alpharetta. We saw the whole thing, but basically independent living. We had a very good experience. It was very clean. They were able to show me the cottages. They had a garage, which is what we're looking for, and something more than 1400 square feet. The rooms seemed to be very nice. The staff was very helpful. They were wonderful people. They answered all the questions that we had, and they were very eager to take us around and show us the place. The staff was A-1, as far as I'm concerned. I saw the dining area. I wasn't interested in the menu, but one of my friends lives there, and she was telling me that the food is very good. They got a new chef, and the food is excellent. I met only maybe three or four people, but they were very accommodating."

"My father-in-law has a one-bedroom apartment, and he has been there for two months. It is clean, and it didn't smell like urine. It has a lake in the middle of it, and it is very serene. He feels like he is not closed in. The grounds are well kept. He has cerebral palsy, and it is large enough that he could move around in his power wheelchair. It has a roll in shower, and he can also get into his closet. The people were friendly. The food was good, which he loves. They do a physical activity in the morning, and they have projects that they work on. They made wreaths for the doors for the holidays. He actually bakes with the ladies. They have a library that he can go into and they watch the races and football games together. One of the biggest things that stand out is with him having cerebral palsy, they gave him a lot of his independence back. When we went for the interview, the head nurse took time to talk to me and my husband. She was able to straighten out his medication because we were having trouble with the other pharmacy. So to me, getting the billing straightened out and the way they were ordering the medicine was a good idea, it worked wonderfully. They are allowed a lot of free movement, which I think is good. They do take them places. "
