We spoke to an associate from the facility who gave us so much information about the facility and how the admission process worked in general. She was so h lpful that we are assessing our situation more informed.

Living spaces ranged from studio, which was spacious enough for one person and all of their necessary belongings, to two bedrooms with two bathrooms, which could easily accommodate a married couple with numerous belongings. The common areas were exceedingly large and bright. The menu included many choices. My wife had the chicken wings, and I had the shrimp and avocado salad. The food was very good; the soup was exceptional. My wife had the vegetable soup, and I had the beef barley. Lots of choices for desserts, too. The staff was friendly and attentive. The front office was extremely informative and caring; best of all, they were never pushy.

I thought Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay was a little dark when you entered. It had a lot of wood in it. It's pretty, but it wasn't as open and inviting as I expected. It was decorated nicely, but to me, it was a little dark. The staff who gave the tour was nice enough. She talked to me a little bit, but she would get off the subject a little bit. The dining room looked nice. The tables were set. I didn't see any activities though. I just felt they weren't as caring or inviting. It was more business than personal, I thought. The grounds were well kept. But the staff didn't show me a garden, or where residents could walk and be outside. She didn't go into that.

I toured the Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay Senior Living. It was very clean. The staff was very welcoming and nice. They were very informative. She took us for a small tour around the first floor, part of it was the theater. They have a beautiful dining room. They had a walk-up bar like a pub setup where you could get meals. I appreciated the cleanliness and looking behind the counter where they could go up and have their meals if they missed breakfast, it was very clean.

Tuscan Gardens is a beautiful facility meticulously kept. Unfortunately, new management has taken over and it’s being run into the ground. I moved my mother in a year ago and was quite happy. Six months ago (or so) a new management company took over and it’s quite obvious it’s all they only care about their profits. Employees have shared that their hours have been cut- which is obvious. The food is HORRIBLE. The entire operation has become completely disorganized. Sadly we were forced to endure the cost and stress of moving my mother to another facility. Tuscan Gardens charges top dollar and DOES NOT DELIVER. Don’t let the beauty of the facility blind you - they are not taking care of their residents.

Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay was a wonderful facility. It was beautiful and new. It was very well built and very safe as far as hurricanes. It had a gorgeous lobby as you walked in, it was very elegant. The restaurant part looked beautiful. The rooms that I did see were beautifully furnished and very nice. The lady who gave me the tour, Mackenzie, was very personable and very informative. The menu looked very good and the dining area looked excellent. It was beautifully spacious, elegant, and very clean. It was very, very impressive. They had exercise rooms and movie nights. Everything was top-notch.

I visited Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay. It was very attractive and looked more like a hotel lobby. Everything seemed to be clean and neat. The person who assisted me during the tour was informative, answered my questions, and was professional. I saw their dining area, it looked good, although I didn't sample any food. They had a lot of people sitting around watching TV at the time, it was kinda dark, and the shades were drawn. They basically have the same activities as others, they also have socials, and they offer barber and hair care.

Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay is nice and new. They have a doctor that comes in twice a week or when people need to see a doctor. I just like the overall appearance because it is a lot newer. It has concrete walls so you do not hear your neighbors. Everything I saw was nice like the dining room and the bistro. Just a nice place all around. I did not have any food but the menu looked nice.

It's a beautiful facility, and it's fairly new. As far as the personnel, she was very good. She was excellent, and she took a lot of time. I thought it was well worth looking at, and I think it was something my mother would have liked. The only thing for us -- the downside -- was the living quarters were on the smaller side, but they were nice. It was more homey than an institution.

Tuscan Gardens was my favorite of all the facilities that I looked at. It fit my needs the best. There was no perfect place. Every place had its pros and cons. This had more pros from the physical stability stand point, but there were some cons as well. The staff was incredible. They were very compassionate and kind. They were very caring individuals. They were very welcoming, which was huge when looking at this style of living. They were very positive. It had a homey atmosphere. Their apartments came in a variety of sizes. However, they were so incredibly well laid out that they appeared spacious. They thought of everything when it came to accessibility for the handicapped. The apartments were really nice. The square footage was not large, but the way they had designed it, they appeared very spacious. It was not a waste of space. I would absolutely recommend it to other families.

We saw Tuscan Gardens for my mother-in-law and it was very nice. The dining area was beautiful. My aunt was in the Alzheimer's unit before and her room was nice, small, and perfect for her needs.
