My husband has been at Inspiritas of Stuart. First of all, the staff needs more help. They don't have enough people to keep the residents clean. They do the best they can, but it should not be at the residents' expense. I feel that my husband is getting neglected. I have to get another company to come in to make sure that he gets whatever he needs. The residents can't really go in and out of their own rooms as they please. They have to stay on the premises and just walk and walk and walk. All day long my husband sleeps, and then he's up all night. They don't do enough to stimulate his brain. They should keep the residents' minds active, but they don't. I go there every day, and I don't see any activity. They offered the world to us, and they told us that they're going to do all these things they're going to do, but once we're in there, I didn't see any. The meals are very good, but it's the same meal for everybody. The only thing I like about that place is that my husband is safe there, and they are not as expensive as the other places.

My husband moved to Inspiritas of Stuart which is all memory care. It's new, it's more modern, and it seems to have all the things that he needs. They keep them busy, they have activities planned all day and I was impressed with the care level there. They've got a chef that I went over the menus with him, and I'm impressed. They have screened-in porches for each unit, and they have a beautiful courtyard for him to walk around in and feel secure. They have an activities director that has something going on all the time, every day. So far, I'm happy with it. The staff is excellent. It's never cheap, but it's as reasonable as I could get, for the conditions. I haven't eaten the food, but they give them a couple of choices, they have a chef there and it's comparable to a restaurant menu.
