This is the worst assisted living facility I have ever seen. You cannot call them because they say they are too busy to answer the phone. There are next to no activities. The employees there do as little as they can get away with. I am very unsatisfied with this facility and it's management.

My mother is a resident at Kiva. Staff is very nice and attentive. Very clean facility. I have lunch with mom couple days week. Food generaly good. If I had one issue would be little variety in menu. I have never seen a salad. I would not hesitate to recommend Kiva.

We visited Kiva of Palatka for my mother-in-law. We liked it. Everybody there was nice and friendly. It was a clean spot. You could tell that it was a really good place, and people were like, "Could we help you with anything? Do you need assistance?" They were polite people. You could tell it was a place where someone would be safe there. It was a medium-sized place, and there were flowers all over and bright green grass. It was pretty, and they have an exercise type of room place. The staff seemed like a legit staff, e.g., they were serving the food like they were supposed to be, they were doing the clean-ups like they were supposed to be when we were there, and everyone seemed to get along there. I would recommend it to anybody.

Kiva of Palatka is clean. The staff is very good. They were very solicitous with my aunt and got along well with her. The dining room was very clean and well taken care of. The people always had a nice place at the table and flowers on the table. The food was brought right out of the kitchen, which was next door, so it was fresh, and they brought it to brought them on a plate. The food was very good, with homemade breads and rolls and homemade desserts and everything cooked right there, so it was fresh and hot when they got it. The room was furnished with her personal items, like a small TV set, so it was homey for her. There was plenty of space in the room. The have the usual exercises, singing, and games.

My experience with Kiva was a good experience as the staff were all very nice and thoughtful in this time. My family and I really appreciated the time and effort that the staff put in to caring for our family member while they stayed at Kiva. We feel they went above what was expected of them and their duties. I would recommend them to people who needed assisted living. We tour others and made our decision on Kiva and are so glad we picked them. It had a very clean and nice atmosphere to it. It was always clean and did not have a odor as others we toured had bad odors and was unclean in places. Kiva was clean and that is why we decided to pick Kiva and put our family member in their hands which turned out to be a good decision. We all agreed we would pick Kiva again if needed.
