The facility itself is truly a little piece of paradise, offering a comforting and peaceful environment that has made my uncle feel right at home. Nora went above and beyond, assisting us with all the necessary Medicaid paperwork, and thanks to her excellent contacts and expertise, everything was approved promptly. Today, my family and I are overjoyed with the level of care and attention my uncle receives. We couldn't have asked for a better place. My father-in-law is at Norita Adult Family Care. The home is being run by a husband and wife who actually live on the premises, and they also have family members that are part of the complex that they take care of there. They treat everyone as though they're family, and they take their time to explain exactly what they offer. Actually my sister-in-law lives across the street from them, and since my father-in-law has an illness which causes him at times to be a bit aggressive, so for them, it is much easier, because my sister-in-law can come over and calm him down there. They're very clean, and they're very organized. Everyone there is very, very caring, and at the drop of a hat, you can call and they answer all your questions. It is just a very caring type of atmosphere. It is the perfect facility for my father-in-law. They really take the time to watch him. They would do everything that we were looking for, and they do it in such a way he has nothing bad to say, other than he wishes he could home, because in his mind, he wants to go home. The food is good too. Also, they have a secondary location where they take them to. It is like a farm, where they are able to go out. It is a family-type of situation. Overall, for us, Norita Adult Family Care is a God-send.
