While in Florida searching for a place for my friend's mother, we decided to venture into some other areas in the region. The grounds of Rainbow Retirement Living looked well tended and maintained, with plenty of places to sit. The foyer and interior rooms were easy to navigate and nicely designed. There was plenty of fresh air and light with nice views throughout. The communal areas all had interesting activities occurring, from reading to games and resident interactions. It was clear that the residents enjoy living here. The private living suites were all a nice size and did not seem cramped. They were also beautifully decorated. Each unit had individually controlled temperatures. We could see that most people would be comfortable in any one of them. Outings and events included restaurants, art museums, the library, films, fine dining and theater. They also host regular parties for residents at the facility which they encourage friends and family to attend as much as possible. The restaurant style dining area offered many delicious choices. They also had a private dining room for friends and family to enjoy. The seniors here really enjoy living here - that was plain to see. The staff is kind, caring and very attentive to all of their needs, whatever they happened to be.
