My grandmother and I were both very pleased with how she was treated. The staff payed a lot of attention to her individual needs. My grandmother is very picky to say the least. They made her last moments on this earth as pleasant as possible. They made sure to be there with her every step of the way. The only thing I didn't like was the meals, yuck. Other then that the facility was clean and impeccable. They where very lenient with all my request and just like my grandmother I'm a pest when it comes down to certain things, I was also very please that they allowed her to see her dog Delilah before she passed that was something I was very concerned with but they made it possible. I thank god everyday for everything they did for her and my family. Every assisted living facility should be more like them.

We decided to visit Flamingo Park Manor assisted living facility as we really liked the area and it is convenient for my friend's mother's family. The lovely exterior and grounds were well tended with nicely landscaped and easy to navigate parkways. The living spaces were generous and nicely designed and decorated. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks were offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. They have daily exercise classes and equipment. The residents may also safely navigate the lovely grounds for exercise with adequate supervision. The many planned activities featured everything from book readings and discussions to arts and crafts. The residents are taken to many interesting events in Miami -- which is known for its rich cultural diversity and events. This is a very nice senior community with great and competent staff -- and we could see how any senior would really enjoy living in this interesting and safe environment.
