My husband has been here. Right now, I don't see any problem with it. They have an assisted living house, they have a lockdown unit house, and then they have one where they cook all the meals and stuff. Where my husband is, there is only room for 12 people in that house. He seems to be a lot happier there than he has been in the big facility. They're very good. Everybody treats the patients very well. I've sat there for a couple of hours and watched them have lunch, and they get good care there. I wish there were more places like that around here. It feels more like home because it's a house. I think a lot of people would enjoy having their family in a place like that. All the staff members I've met are very nice and very sweet. I heard from one of the workers that some of them love my husband so much that they want to put him in their pocket and take him home with them. However, at lunch, they only get one vegetable. I think they should have at least two vegetables and one meat. I also met the lady that does activities, but I haven't been there when they're doing things with them.

It was a nice community. It was a little bit different from the others I visited. They had different houses. It wasn't just one big facility. They had semi-private rooms and they were clean. They took me through two of the homes and both of them were very clean, too. The residents seemed to like their living arrangements. The person who took me around was very informative, very caring, and answered all of my questions. They also do different activities. Each home had a couple of people who worked there, and they would prepare the residents' meals for them. It was a good experience. I toured the memory care. There were people doing puzzles and people that were playing cards. They do group activities, like get-togethers, celebrate people's birthdays or the 4th of July, and all that kind of stuff. Each home was fenced in and they had outdoor patios closed in.

The staff was very friendly. The room we were shown was ridiculous though. The width of the room was the width of a bed so it was ridiculously tiny. We saw other shared rooms though where the size was reasonable. A resident we spoke to while we were waiting told us she was bored, and the residents we saw were really just sitting in their rooms and not doing anything. The staff was friendly and the outside surroundings were very nice and wooded.

I have placed my mother here. It’s a residential home so it has a very friendly appearance, like a group home. There’s 13 residents in a home. It is very homey, open, and has a really nice porch for her. It suits my mother’s personality. So far, everything has been great.
