Have been at Aaron Manor for rehab for over two weeks now and am very impressed... rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and comfortable ... food is varied and decent for a facility .. staff is kind and caring ... PT/OT is very invested in what is best for you and come up with creative solutions for one's problems.... ring for assistance and someone arrives within five minutes ... they deal with insurance so one does not have to worry about that ... of course, there may be an exception here and there, but rare ... highly recommend

Aaron Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation had a six-month waiting period. We like the location. The staff has knowledge of the level of care that we were seeking. They offer a variety of services. They have a beauty salon, a barber shop, a recreation or activity room, and physical therapy. It's near hospitals and restaurants. You do have to drive, but it's not in the middle of nowhere.

I don't personally live there, so whenever I visited, everyone was nice. They were fully medically staffed 24/7, so that gives you a peace of mind. According to both my now-late grandparents, the only thing lacking was their activities. Their activities director filled up the calendars nicely with all sorts of events, but those events left a lot to be desired. One of the events listed says "bowling" but grandma told me it was finger bowling across the table with marbles. They charge quite a bit and as much as I am happy that they are being taken care of physically - I wish they pay more attention to the residents' emotional / psychological well beings. Most residents there are on borrowed time, so I wish the activities director would do a better job making the residents' time more fulfilling. Otherwise, this place is a pretty luxurious place to live out one's days should one need constant medical attention.
