My mother is in Northglenn Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care. She's in memory care. Everything's good. All of the other facilities keep raising their rates, but they're cheaper than the other ones. They've got a little outside area for memory care. It's always clean. The staff is great. They call me when there are any issues or anything. All in all, it's a nice place. Mom doesn't do a lot because she's got Alzheimer's bad, but we have another aunt there, and they do everything from coloring to movies to music nights. They have several places inside the memory care that they can go to, to watch certain movies and it had lounge chairs. They had a little library, a little music area, a small dining facility, and an outside garden they can go out to, but they have to be watched a little more than the regular assisted living. We've eaten with mom one time there, and the food's good. They have juices always open and hot drinks. I've watched her eat more than I've eaten there, but she seems to like it quite a bit and that's pretty good because she's pretty grumpy. The place is always clean. The problem is the price just keeps going up and up, and to me, it's a little bit unaffordable, even for somebody that has a retirement income. Mom has a retirement income and it's still about a thousand-something short. There's nothing to help somebody that makes money and is paying, so from the time she's been there the last of couple years, it's gone up from $3900 to $5300.

I toured the Northglenn Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care to look at their assisted living. I was impressed with what I have seen, and my interaction with employees and residents. Just passing with the staff in the hallways, everyone says good morning or good afternoon. They were all very friendly. The facility was presentable and it has a good layout. The place has easy access to getting in and out, and the location is great.

I toured Northglenn Heights Assisted Living. It seemed like a friendly community. My unit happens to be a one-bedroom versus the studio that I have here. It has a patio. I met some friendly people just at lunch. Their food was good. Just friendly staff. I was pretty impressed. I only had one meal there, but it was tasty and it was served very politely. They gave me a paper with all the activities. It seemed like there were more activities than there were in the other community.

I toured Northglenn Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care. The price is good, not too expensive, but it was kind of in a business area around it. It's not residential, so it was a little more industrial and not a lot of walking trails. The staff was friendly. The building is clean and has a good structure. It's an older building, and a little bit rundown on the outside. Their courtyard was kind of overgrown grass and lots of weeds, not maintained that well. It has a friendly atmosphere, a good layout, and nice-sized rooms.

I toured Northglenn Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care. When she showed the first room I walked through the door and immediately knew it wouldn't work. My dad isn't even going to be able to get his walker through this door. I went into the bathroom and it was terrible. The doors were really narrow and not accommodating at all. The place smelled. The people were sitting around, not clean, and not dressed appropriately. Another thing that I didn't like, there was a med cart just sitting there in the hallway. The whole place just turned me off. The lady who took us around did a good job. She was nice and she showed us everything.

I thought Northglenn Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care was nice. I just thought mostly it was too far away from where I wanted my mom to be, with me. I think what I wanted from the facility is people who were going to make her go out and join, but I think that their engagement is more contingent on the person. So if the person doesn't want to go, they don't strongly encourage them to go. But they seemed really nice. The tour was quite pleasant, and it was very comprehensive. The staff was relatively new so she didn't have all the keys that she needed right away, but she was really quick thinking on her feet and was like, I don't have the keys to this one, but let's go here. And she was very apologetic about it, she had only been a month on the job and so she was still kind of learning. But there wasn't a question that I asked her that she didn't know, except for when I asked her about my mom's special medication that I wanted to know if the facility would be able to pay. It was dated, but it was clean.

I went to Northglenn Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care, and that's one of the ones that we're looking at going back to see on Saturday. My first impression was questionable because it is an older facility, but the more I walked through there, it was clean, and there were people around. They were remodeling every single room. They have a lot of inside activities as well as off-facility activities, so I like that one. They had a lot of different active activities. They had a beautiful courtyard, and some of the rooms open up off into that courtyard. And for the space that you get, the price was very respectable. The staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to get answers for me. They're good.

I visited Northglenn Heights Assisted Living & Memory Care. The staff was good and very accommodating. The layout of the facility was nice and the views were nice. I had dinner with them, but the food wasn't as good as the other places I visited. The room was set up nicely, but it was smaller than I anticipated. The floor plan was very comfortable and easy to manage. I wasn't so impressed with the activities they had.

Northglenn Heights Assisted Living was very accommodating. It was a nice place, but they do not allow pets, and Mom has 2 small dogs, so that is one consideration that I am looking at. The staff is very accommodating, and the residents seemed to enjoy the place. The rooms are adequate and easy to get to and out of.

Northglenn Heights was a really nice place. They had a restaurant with a chef and menu of all kinds of choices. The price was about the same as others. It had a nice courtyard. It was cozy, homey, and comfortable. It just felt warm in the way it was decorated. The place was full of people. It was jammed. They had a lot of seniors walking around. Everybody was good. I really liked the people. They had a seminar on dementia once or twice a month. I went into a room, and it was really spacious.

I am in Northglenn Heights Assisted Living Community. Everything has been very good, including the staff. When I hit my little button and say “Please come and help,” they are there within 10 minutes. I am living in a studio apartment. It is classified as a large studio, and I have a kitchenette and a bathroom. We can use a microwave but not a stove. They do not serve food that is special for diabetics, and I am diabetic. We have activities going on 24 hours, like bingo at 1:00, chair exercises at 2:00, and something at 3:00.

My husband stayed in Northglenn Heights. It was a really nice place that had a lot of activities. He liked to go outside, and they had two areas where you could just go outside. They had really good food and a caring staff. They put a box outside of the resident's door with their picture on it. My husband had managed a post office in Portland, Colorado when a tornado hit it, and they had gone back, found that newspaper, reduced it down, and put it with his picture. I thought that was going out of their way to make a person felt like they care. It did not smell like urine, and it was a good place.

I really liked Northglenn Heights, but it doesn't have any openings, so that’s why I’m still looking. The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions. They had a lot of different activities available. I would recommend them. It’s nice and clean. The people there were very friendly, and residents appeared to be fine and happy. The service was very good. I thought it would be a good place.

My mom is already in Northglenn Heights, and she is doing fine. Mom was there before, they were able to bring her back to the same room, and she likes the people. She just likes it there. The staff is very good. They have activities, and they take them on trips. I have not tried the food, but it always looks very good. My mom seems happy with the girls. They clean her room, and they come take her for dinner. It seems to be really good.

Northglenn Heights was good too. They had more amenities and it was a bigger place. They took people out on outings. They had a secure area where they could go out and wouldn't wander off.

Northglenn Heights was OK. The staff was very nice and informed, too. They have activities, and they’re satisfactory. The one-bedroom apartment was nice but small, and we would have to furnish it. The dining room was clean, they had a centerpiece on each table, and you could choose from a menu and take whatever they have on that day. The residents were active.

My mother-in-law went in Northglenn Heights and just felt at home there. Everything was nice. They had nice dining hall, the rooms were good, and the people were wonderful. The apartments were larger than some of the others, but not exceptionally larger. She had a window that overlooked the part at an apartment building next door, so she could watch the kids playing. She plays bridge, cards, and she's a football fan so they had a lot of Bronco parties.

My father is in Northglenn Heights Assisted Living and he is very happy there. The staff is doing a really good job. The room is probably more spacious than the other facility. They have a lot of activities. They do shopping, go to movies and they go out to eat.
