My uncle was in Autumn Heights. The facility was pretty bad but the people working there were awesome. He really received good care from the people. He was a grouchy old man and hard to live with. He had people who made his final days pleasant and that was greatly appreciated even though the facility was low quality and low cost.

This assisted living center is not the worst; it is fairly clean, it smells nice, and the people are decent. That said, the food leaves much to be desired; we had to install a mini fridge in my grandmother's room so she could keep home-cooked meals. She was beginning to lose weight and refused to eat the food provided. The staff is attentive enough to her needs, but she's a social butterfly and is put off when the staff ignores what she says. While I was figuring out if we could bring the mini fridge for her, I was told I needed to speak with the maintenance guy about accessibility. That wasn't a problem, but he failed to return my call entirely, telling me later that he'd lost my number. Overall for the price I can't complain a whole lot about this facility, and my grandmother says they're nice enough to her and she seems happy there.
