This is an older multi-story senior housing facility operated by non-profit organization with rates based on a sliding scale for independent living. The apartments are very clean but gently used with a balcony. The location is great, next to the public library and downtown Visalia so it's close to shopping. A big plus is that it's located near the Senior Citizens Center for easy access to meals and resources. The dining room is used for activities and snacks/coffee; the kitchen was closed due to personnel expenses. There are activities planned, like the Xmas tree decorating party, a small media room, and library. Small pets are allowed, another plus. The grounds are nice, but small with a couple of benches for sitting and some nice orange trees. Only downside is the traffic, but the facility is completed gated so its secure.
