"We put my father into Quail Park on Cypress. Overall, it's a wonderful facility. It fits his needs in that they provide all the meals. From his viewpoint, the food is excellent. Their housekeeping does a great job. There are a lot of social activities. They provide some transportation also. We've thus far been very happy. They got so much over there. They've got a library, a mini movie theater, several different meeting rooms, a fitness center, and a very nice dining area. They have an RN nurse on staff there, so that's pretty neat. They have a linen service, which is part of housekeeping. They've got washers and dryers for personal clothes. There are spaces for indoor and outdoor for seating, and they have a good-sized parking lot, too. Their outdoor is kind of a patio more or less. They have seating in front of the facility and in the middle part. It's like a hub. There's like three sides and it comes together, and that hub is where all the stuff is situated."

"We have chosen here for my father-in-law. The staff, the facility, and the location are the reasons why we chose them. The staff are awesome. We had lunch there one day with my father-in-law, and the food was very tasty. They have music, they have games, and they took my father-in-law out for ice cream. It's very clean. There's enough space. My father-in-law has his own small apartment, but there are common areas that are very comfortable and very inviting."

"This beautiful, new facility is like a 5-star hotel. The Caregivers & Med Techs, Life Engagement Director, and ALL the staff in Memory Care have been wonderful with my dad. I have peace of mind knowing he's in such caring, kind, gentle, capable hands. They help him brush his teeth & get dressed each morning, then take him to the beautiful dining room for breakfast, then it’s fantastic activities every 30-60 minutes for the rest of the day, like painting, brain games, karaoke, group exercise, trivia, or watching performers that come in for dancing, singing & cultural events. It's so important that our loved ones have social involvement and Quail MC provides all of this for their residents. I could never provide my dad with the activities and the type of skilled care he receives at Quail MC, not to mention the patience required for all of these daily life skills & activities. I'm eternally grateful to the entire Memory Care Staff at Quail Park at Shannon Ranch for giving my sweet dad the very best quality of life possible."

"My stepmother-in-law was here for just a very short time, but they were wonderful there. We liked them. It's a small one. It only had like 12 residents on her side, and then the memory care area had 12 patients on that side. So, it was very home-like. The rooms and everything were very nice. The food was very good there. I would recommend them. The workers were just really good. They were very friendly and very helpful. They would take her meals to her. They would take care of her there in her bed and were very kind to her. The place was very clean and very pretty. They had some nice outdoor areas that people could sit in that were lovely. In every way, it was a very sweet little place."

"We were looking for a place for my uncle but as of the moment we are still in the process of getting him a spot here. He's going through having a physical therapy as of now and also working on the papers to fill out for him since we decided that this is where he will go. We like the place specially my mother. She wants to put my uncle in a comfortable place. My uncle has friends there so it would be a good idea if he stay there after the therapy. He's 93 and alone and he's ready now to get a little help and stay in an assisted living facility and not be alone in his house."

"I toured Haleys Home Care LLC. I liked that it was a home. It was a nice, newer home, not a facility. Also, it was clean, open, and airy, and aesthetically pleasing. The staff member I met with was super nice. She showed me all of them. I got to meet the other residents. There are only five that live there, so I got to meet them, which was nice. They don't have a cafeteria-type setting. They get three meals a day because most of their clients are always in bed. So, they fix meals."

"We toured The Harvest at Fowler. What's nice is that it's small. There were few residents. It's very personal. Alex did a nice job and he was very helpful with information. The rooms were nice and clean. They have their own bathrooms. It's an open dining area. It's nice."

"My mother-in-law was in Oaks Meadows for a year. It's a really nice place. They got kitchens in their apartments. It's family friendly. Everybody was real friendly. It was nice that they lock the doors. For the evening hours, you can only get in by calling the individual you wanted to visit there because they lock the door. It's a nice secure area and we like that. They were real nice and real friendly. They even remember my name. "

"My mother is in memory care at Casa Grande. We chose it because of proximity to my home, it's clean and cheerful, and the facility has what she needs, like activities, games, and large common areas where visitors come in and put on religious music. They have outings for those who are interested and able. They have a hairstylist who comes in if you need that, food and their own kitchen, a podiatrist who comes in on a schedule, a doctor if you choose to use them, and hospice can come in if necessary. The rooms are a nice size. The staff is friendly and personable."

"Evergreen is the very best at what they can help with, and that is caring for your family member as though they were part of their own family. It is a privately owned facility and every service they provide is the epitome of personal. Martha, the Administrator, and Esmerelda, her Assistant are extremely careful to select staff who not only care for each resident with great love and compassion, but also care for the family and friends of the residents as though an extension of your family. Each staff member displays an obvious passion for what they do. This small home environment was given to us as a gift from God. Mom was only with them for about two months before she passed, and these extraordinary people fell in love with a woman who was already in advanced stages of dementia and had very little capacity to express her own gratitude for the much needed love and care she received. Even when Mom passed these people grieved as though she was their own family whom they had lost. Dementia is such a cruel condition and Evergreen and its Staff offset that cruelty with compassion and love that made it all better; you know, like mommy kissing the hurt so it would go away. They count it a privilege that you would trust them with the one you love. I could go on and on, but just visit them, you'll see what I'm referring to. Oh, and the cost is the best you will find anywhere! This is wholly sincere, and without exaggeration. Take a tour, you won't be disappointed. Thank you again Evergreen! "

"TLC met our needs 100%. The staff was warm, loving, attentive and knowledgeable of the care my mother required for the short time she had left. The facility was clean, well maintained and odor free. The rooms reminded me of home. They communicated regularly on my mothers condition or concerns. I have over the years visited other assisted living facilities but none have impressed me as much as TLC. I would recommend them to any of my family or friends. "

"I'm in Sierra Village. It's been a very good experience. The price is significantly better than other places and from beginning to end there, they make you feel like you're worth something. They do everything they can to make the transition as easy as possible. I have nothing negative to say about them. I'm very pleased with them. The staff is friendly and helpful to a tee. Anytime you need something, they're as quick as they can be. You could either rent a unit with a one-bedroom or a two-bedroom. I'm in independent living, so I cook my own food. They have various activities during the week that you can partake in, and they have special activities as well. They are smart enough that when they built that place, no one has to go to a second floor. Everybody lives on one-floor ground level. Each of those housing has its own special arrangement. They are built next to a school because they hope to have the students interact with the older folks. Considering that the cost of living is in the General Bay Area, this is an excellent cost."

"Ferguson Home wasn't very nice or up to our standards. It was kind of run-down, and the people running the place were older. The staff who gave me the tour was great, he was nice and very helpful. It's just that they're elderly as well, so it's like an elderly person taking care of another elderly. We saw the dining area which was a little small. My husband saw the rooms during our tour, and he said there were two mattresses side by side. So it was a shared room and not a private room."

"This is a privately owned board and care facility for low income residents located in a converted, older two story residence near downtown. The staff uses the second story while residents live downstairs. The rooms are small and without bathrooms; some rooms had vinyl tiles missing. Residents were being fed lunch which was canned food; no dining room, just TV trays or small tables. I didn't see activities posted; just a old small TV in the living room where one resident was watching. I didn't detect any obnoxious odors, but the residents didn't look well groomed. If you have no other options, it's better than being on the street, but sad. "

"This is a privately owned assisted living facility for low income residents who are on Medical assistance or in some cases, abandoned by their family and under the assistance of the county or adult protective services. The facility is currently undergoing some flooring replacement, but the whole facility could use a facelift. There was some odor, but nothing obnoxious. They care for some residents that aren't seniors, but are in need of assistance. I was told that they try to serve fresh food, but what I saw looked canned. The rooms had some of the resident's belongings on the floor in bags. There is room to move about outdoors, but the grounds are only a grassy area surrounded by a chain link fence. One of the patient rooms was so hot, they had to leave the door open, while the TV room was very cold and the TV reception was blurry. "

"My mom moved into Valley Christian Home. The facility was clean. They were friendly, very helpful, and informative. The people there were just outstanding. When I went in there, they were very welcoming. They welcomed my mom. I couldn't ask for anything better. My mom has only been there a couple of days, but she said the food is good. I was there when they sat down and asked her what she liked and didn't like. They kind of specialize in what she wants, so it was very good. They have an activities director, and he's pretty awesome. He comes in, gets my mom, and takes her down to do activities. They have bingo, events, church, and exercises."

"Our experience touring Palm Village Retirement Community was very good and very nice. I thought it was very well kept and very well organized for memory care. I thought it was great. The rooms were very nice. High-quality upgrades. Good furniture. Everything was nice. The room was more of a studio set-up like a hotel room. They have both skilled nursing and memory care areas, and they also have memory care in the skilled nursing, which is a combination that's hard to find. I saw their rooms, the eating area, and the outdoor garden."
