The people at Valley Christian Home are very nice and very accommodating. The inside of the facilities are very nice. It's just there's a lot of different hallways and sections, and with what my mom is going through, I think it would be very confusing for her. They have good storage, and they each have an individual nice-sized bathroom. It's more of a hotel room. There's not a lot of amenities in the room. They don't want the residents cooking or anything like that. They have a library and a courtyard. This is a fenced facility. So mom wouldn't be able to just walk away from it. They have daily walks, they have recreation, church services on Sundays, and Bible study groups. The staff was very nice and was able to answer all the questions.

My mom moved into Valley Christian Home. The facility was clean. They were friendly, very helpful, and informative. The people there were just outstanding. When I went in there, they were very welcoming. They welcomed my mom. I couldn't ask for anything better. My mom has only been there a couple of days, but she said the food is good. I was there when they sat down and asked her what she liked and didn't like. They kind of specialize in what she wants, so it was very good. They have an activities director, and he's pretty awesome. He comes in, gets my mom, and takes her down to do activities. They have bingo, events, church, and exercises.

My mom has already been moved into Valley Christian Home. So far, they are doing a really good job. It is local and within a few miles from where we are, and it has gotten good reviews from everybody that we talked to. So far, the food has been very good. As for their level of care, it has been very good as well. It is always clean and very well-kept up. They have games that they could play, and there are nights for them to get together; they’ve got a ton of activities there. She has been there a few weeks, and, so far, it is going rather well.
