The staff is professional and caring. We were fortunate that our Dad was able to reside at Caring Hearts, and now, several years later, our Mom is currently at this wonderful facility. It's not fancy, but it is clean and homey and Mom likes the food. Many of the staff members have been there for several years, so the turnover in staff is nil, which says a lot.

I think Caring Hearts is meeting our needs well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My wife has a private room, and she is quite comfortable. The facility is not very big, but it is comfortable, and the staff has been wonderful. She complaints about the food, but she still eats it.

I'd visited quite a few other nursing homes looking for the right one to put my Grandmother in. I eventually chose Caring Hearts because I felt that she would be the most comfortable in it. She was more resistant to the idea of a nursing home as we are Chinese, and in China there is quite a bit of negative stigma about the elderly being put in nursing homes. However, I finally managed to convince her, and she has actually adjusted quite nicely. Before she had fully adjusted, however, the staff had to deal with her. They were very patient and understanding, putting up with her outbursts and generally being very helpful. There were several other factors that influenced my decision: The d̩cor of the facility, which was very homely and cozy, and the personalities and lives of the other people living there. My grandmother was never bored in there, and has actually managed to make some friends despite some of the language barriers between them. The only thing she complains about when I visit her is the food; she wishes that they'd serve some more traditional Chinese dishes.
