I lived at Hallmark - Palm Springs for 3 years. It's a well-kept building with two floors. They had a central dining room. They had several different room configurations. I think all of them have a kitchenette. The studio apartment I had did have a small refrigerator and sink. The staff members were very good and very caring people. They were sometimes short-staffed over the past three years, but mainly because of the COVID situation, which affected all of the health care facilities. But they were very kind and easy to work with. They had an activities director and a variety of activities on the schedule every week. Each day, there were several different things that you could participate in. On occasion, there were trips outside the facility for shopping or lunch. The activities director would keep in touch with the residents to see if there were other things they would like to do.

Our choice is Hallmark-Palm Springs. My friend hasn't moved in yet. It was wonderful, and everybody was so nice. The staff was just amazing. The rooms were much bigger, and it made my friend feel more comfortable. It had a little kitchenette, which makes my friend happy, too. For activities, there's bingo night, and they bring in music performers, which is really lovely. They also have game night. The dinners, the breakfasts and the lunches are all served in the dining room, and they're all prepared. And they feel like they're in a dining room instead of a buffet. They also offer balconies. My friend would be on the first floor and there's a balcony. She could just sit there and enjoy the day. It's so beautiful. It's all accessible. They would put her close to the dining facility because of her walking disability. They just took all this into consideration. I really love it.

Our mom spent three weeks here before passing away. She was on hospice care from admission and the Hallmark staff was competent and very caring. They made sure her meals were prepared in a way that she could consume them. She had to have more care than most but they stepped up and customized everything for her. We are very grateful for the entire staff and the care they provided. Gloria, the director, is excellent at making everyone feel at home while overseeing the staff.

It wasn’t really a tour, and there was nobody around at the Hallmark. There was minimal supervision, and I wasn’t impressed. No parking, I wasn’t impressed with the food, and there was really a lack of people. It did have a central area or a courtyard and a dining room that would hold probably most everybody.

The director of Hallmark was very welcoming. The residents looked incredibly happy. The rooms were fantastic and spacious. They had nice bathrooms. There was a nice courtyard. The facility felt like a nice hotel, and it was very nice. They also had a bus that takes them out.

Hallmark Palm Springs just seemed very elegant and clean. It's not too far from where I live. The person we were looking for liked it the best also, and we knew somebody who was there who had gotten really good care. We were looking at a studio. The bathroom and the size of it were nice. It had a refrigerator and a sliding glass door that looked out of the patio on a green area. We ate dinner there. It was good, and the portions were adequate.
