Moraga Royale

We chose to move Dad to Moraga Royale because my sister lives within walking distance. That was a big reason. It also has better weather than San Francisco. The facility looks really good, very clean, very welcoming, and has a great outdoor area. The staff has been friendly and helpful and there are lots of them. I tried their meal and it was delicious. My dad has activities there and he's happy with them.

Moraga Royale is very nice, clean, and organized. My mom has a wonderful large studio room, and the service seems to be very nice. The staff is very nice, gentle, and caring. They have all kinds of activities in that place.

As a geriatric care manager, I have a lot of residents at Moraga Royale at any given time. It's a lovely place at the edge of Moraga"”close to stores. Those who are ambulatory can walk across the street to a shopping plaza. They redecorate frequently. Things always look fresh. And they have a beautiful lobby, with seasonal décor. The rooms, some shared, some private are nice too. Just lovely. The staff is very good. They communicate well with us and with medical practitioners. They're great communicators. They know the residents well"”their likes and dislikes. And they're quick to recognize small status changes. It's family owned, and the owners are very involved. The food is excellent, too. One of the other things I like is that their activities are innovative. They have higher functioning people with dementia spend time with others in assisted living. That's a very good thing. And they offer a lot of activities. There are a lot of choices.
