My father stayed at Alamitos Rehab for two weeks. It's a very good facility, from the people to the care itself. The food was good. They had activities and they kept the people active. They had Bingo and exercising. The leanliness was excellent, but the layout was not as good. If the patient wanted to go and roam around, it would be in the hallways.

Alamitos Belmont has a great staff and great program. My mom was in rehab here for 2 months after a back surgery. She received an hour of occupational therapy and an hour of physical therapy every weekday with very skilled therapists, which really built her strength and stamina back up. They have a large gym with lots of different equipment and tools for working with all different types of people. The nursing staff is also top notch, all very friendly and caring. They treated everyone with respect and they care deeply for even the most difficult patients. My mom also had a wound, which was keep very clean and has healed really nicely. There is a nice spa where everyone gets showers and can get cleaned up, all the rooms have personal TV's for each patient, there is a bathroom in each room and three hot meals are served every day. Some other things I really liked are the two outdoor patios, the daily activates, and they have a great free coffee machine for visitors. The staff at Alamitos Belmont are really special, both my mom and I have felt like part of the family and we've made some great friends through this tough time.

You can not ask for more caring people than they have at this facility! It's clean, freshly remodeled and has great decor. The food is good and they are very professional and unbelievably patient. My mom has been here for over three years. She doesn't even WANT to come home, she loves it so much. They play table games, have movie nights, candle light dinners and celebrate all the holidays. But the BEST celebration is the annual Luau in August. These people really feel like FAMILY.
