I AM DISGUSTED

If you are even considering putting your family member in this facility--RUN the other direction. Residents are sitting in the parking lot, chainsmoking, looking in dumpsters for food and harassing customers and employees of local businesses. Because of the inattentiveness of the management staff, residents interact with the homeless on a daily basis and are certain prey for those that might abuse or neglect them. Today, one of the residents harassed an employee of one of the businesses nearby and was physical with her. One of these helpless people is going to get shot, ran over by a car or who knows. The place is unkempt and the residents are cared for the same way. Disgusting place and so sad that these folks are not receiving the support they deserve. 0 stars from me but had to give one as required for review. Shut down this dump California.

A friend of mine was hospitalized for an altered mental status due to being ignored at this residential care center. He had very few health problems going into the care center, he was just old and needed help doing day to day things. It was reported from the Emergency Department that he had maggots crawling out of every opening of his body. I believe that there has been a lot of oversight here at this facility, and that the once-a -day rounds they make are not sufficient! My friend died from being ignored by these people. His wife was absolutely hysterical and would be glad I'm telling you this story now. Do not put your family member or friend in this facility, because if you do, you may find them in a hospital bed, dead and filled with maggots! I hope that some legal action is taken against these folks soon.
