I found the people very nice, and very supportive. I found the rooms to be very small and cramp. The residents stayed in one, great big area when they’re not in their rooms. I thought it was too noisy, and too warm. My husband likes a more quiet atmosphere.

Golden Meadows is relatively small and has a really good feel about it. It’s clean and seems to be very well organized. All of the staff members, without exception, seem to be very caring and very positive. My wife’s father likes the food. We didn’t get any complaints when it comes to food. If you’re looking for something really fancy, this isn’t the place for you. It's very clean and very much like an extended house. I’d give it a 4 for the outward appearance and activities, but in terms of the care he’s getting, I’d give it a 5.

I really love Golden Meadows the most. It's a small place, and they had 30 residents that were at least 75 to 80, but a lot of them were walking around. The kitchen and the dining room were immaculate. They had a couple of nurses that were watching the residents, but then when the music started, the staff, the activities director, and the office girl came out and were dancing with the residents, which was a big deal.

The staff at Golden Meadows seems fine but they are overloaded with work. They get all these patients, bathe them, and give them meals before they can get to the others. So they hurry up and feed them. Then bring them all down and sit them in front of the television. The television then babysits them. However, a lot of these patients needing memory care don't understand what they're watching. It is very confusing for them to listen to anything if they can't follow it. It frustrates them. The way Golden Meadows treats their patients just didn't look that good to me.

This facility is located in Banning California on the main Blvd which runs through town. Easy to get to. Golden Meadows is an assisted living. The staff are very compassionate and attentive to the residents. They offer medication management, assist with personal care and activities to keep the residents stimulated. They also have staff prepar 3 meals daily for all residents. This is a clean facility with a home like decor. I even had one resident talk to me about how he feels pleased with his care he is getting and he likes the food too. The residents appear comfortable.

This is an excellent facility that treats my dad with respect and dignity and the cost is not prohibitive like some facilities. I highly recommend Golden Meadows for those with relatives with memory care needs.
