It was the best decision we ever made for mom. The personal touches and genuine care at Grayson’s is the best around. There was never a worry or a doubt about mom’s care at Grayson’s. Kevin and Alisha Grayson are simply amazing and the staff truly knew mom and her needs and Kevin made sure of that. We highly recommend Grayson’s Assisted Living over them all. "

"I toured The Wyngate Senior Living Community and I liked it. The only thing was the price because it was a little bit more expensive than the location we've chosen for our mom. It was just great. It was nice to go into a place that would care for my mom just like I would. It was well-maintained and very clean. I know they do different activities, and they're right across the bridge in Ohio and are very close to us. It's near restaurants, stores, and hospitals are probably about 15-20 minutes away."

"I toured The Village At Riverview for my mom. It was cheaper and everything was included, including TV and a phone. The people they were nice. I liked the cheapness and that everything was all together. The staff were very friendly, they worked well with the residents, and were very helpful. They have different programs that my mother can participate in. It's very clean and very well-maintained."

"My sister placed her over at Chateau Grove, and that’s where she’s at right now. One Sunday dinner there, it seemed like she had a pretty good dinner. She seems to be doing fine. She has people she can talk to. She seems to like the atmosphere. They have a local church that comes in and pastors and people that come in and sing with them. They have a prayer and a little bit of The Word, and there were several residents in attendance. "

"We visited Paramount Senior Living at Cabell-Midland Assisted Living. It was clean. The room was like a hospital room, I didn't like it. The grounds were pretty. The person who assisted us was very helpful and nice. The dining area was beautiful. They were playing games."

"My mother-in-law lives in Kings Daughters & Sons Home. It's very clean. It's an older facility, and even though it's not modern and updated a lot, they do around-the-clock care. So for what her financial status is, they take very good care of her. Right now through COVID, they haven't had as many activities that they've had before as far as having an activity director and stuff going on. She's able to go outside and they have the porch. I like that they do all their laundry, they bring her and give her her medicine. So we feel good about that. My mother-in-law loves the food, she says it's very good. She gets three meals a day and she says the food is wonderful. Right now, the problem we're having is that they're understaffed with what's going on across the country. I don't think they offer a whole lot right now."

"I just moved my mother into this community and could not have asked for better service. We were provided with names of movers and other things you typically don't think about when you are making this type of move. The Executive Director gave us resources and had the maintenance person waiting on us and helped us move in. There was a welcome gift for mom and a nice blanket. Mom has been here for a month now and it is just as wonderful today as it was the day we moved in. "

"Trinity Station was wonderful too. The sanitation was good. The staff was wonderful. The facility was very updated and very nice. "

"Oakmont Manor was clean. It looked nice, and it's got good staff. They had shared rooms and private rooms. They also had really good physical therapy and activities. They go fishing and do crafts. They take them shopping and to get their hair done. The person who toured me around was nice."

"I recently spent several weeks in Genesis HealthCare Teays Valley Center after suffering a broken femur caused by a fall. I can unequivocally say that my treatment and care far exceeded expectations. A superb staff and therapists awaited me. They were attentive to my every need and encouraged me at every turn. When I made my first steps with a walker as my therapist guided me down the hallway, I was greeted by the staff with comments of "You go girl" and "Look at you go!". I felt as if I had just qualified for the Olympics! This kind of encouragement was invaluable. Thank you Genesis!"

"My husband is in Braley Care Homes right now. The staff is very helpful. They are friendly, and they take very good care of him. The rooms are just like two regular bedrooms, but very comfortable. The food is great. It is home cooked. The dining room is fine and big. They have activities like balloon toss, and they have group activities Mondays through Fridays for the residents. They have an activities director. I like that it is a dementia-Alzheimer's unit, and it is like a home. The residents are free to go into their bedroom, or they can just walk around out in the living area. They are not expected to stay in their rooms all the time. "

"My wife has moved into English Meadows Teays Valley. We like it. They have a very caring staff. They take good care of her. The service is very good. The place is clean and it looks good. They have good food. They have a good nursing staff. They have different things. If you have a doctor's appointment, they have a bus. They will take you in a wheelchair wherever you need to go. They have a beauty shop. She gets her hair done on Mondays. They have tons of activities. They have a good food variety. Dining is spacious, clean, and very good."
