"My dad moved to Autumn Trace Rensselaer. It's excellent. It's very clean. Everyone's very friendly. My dad loves it here. The food is good. The building is brand new. It's beautiful. He has adequate living space. It's perfect for him. They have combat coffee for retired veterans. They have bingo. They have various outings throughout the month and several social activities available."

"My mother is at Aperion Care Demotte. So far, they have been excellent. The staff are excellent. I've seen the meals that my mother has been eating, and she enjoys them. I'm comfortable knowing that she is well taken care of and she's getting good therapy from the therapy department. She is clean every day and attired every day. She is able to go to the activities room and engage if she so desires. They are adhering to all the protocols and policies from my purview. They provide me with a text message on a weekly basis, keeping me abreast of not only what's going on in their facilities, but the area. They have staff at the entrance taking temperature and documenting. All of the staff adhere to wearing masks, as well as individuals coming into facility, and they make sure that you are aware of what their policies are in terms of social distancing with the residents even when you do visit."

"Oak Grove is a Christian facility for elderly people. My grandma has been there for over two years, and I have nothing but great things to say. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the facility is immaculate. It smells fresh and looks great all of the time. The food is also wonderful and a lot of it is homemade. There are many things available on site as well for the residents. They can play games such as Bingo, have their hair set and styled, and they have some form of entertainment several times a week. Children from local schools come to visit the residents and they sing for them and make cards and gifts for them. Whenever there is a problem, the facility calls me immediately to tell me what has happened, even if it is a very small issue. Oak Grove also incorporates Christianity into daily living by praying before meals and offering church services and sing-alongs. "

"I would not recommend this facility to anyone. My mother has been there for one week now for rehab after surgery. Their staffing is poor. They don't respond to call lights in a timely manner. My mother had two incidents in one day where her call light was on and no one came to assist her to get to the bathroom and she wet herself twice in one day! She is not incontinent - she just can't get up and walk to the bathroom by herself due to knee replacement surgery 10 day prior. She was there 5 days before they installed arms on the side of the toilet for her to use to get up. The arms are too narrow so she can't clean herself up after going to the bathroom which she is very capable of. Here we are 4 days later and still have not had wider arms installed. "
