"We chose Countryside Assisted Living for my mom. They did all they could to make space available so that we could put her in memory care. It's a very lovely place. As soon as I went in, I felt very comforted that the employees and residents seemed to be happy and going about their day, which wasn't the same atmosphere where she moved from. Right off the bat, everyone did whatever they could to help and reassured me that Mom didn't need to go to a nursing home, and that they could take care of her even through hospice. They've done everything they could to make us feel comfortable. And it's really obvious, especially on the memory care side, that she's well cared for. All their employees just seem loving and caring, whereas I have witnessed other places have a lot of frustrated employees. So, whatever they're doing to train each other or how they're selecting their caregivers is wonderful. My mom is enjoying her food, but I haven't experienced it. Memory care doesn't do as many activities as assisted living. It's just trying to take care of them and keep everybody peaceful. I'm very satisfied and relieved even though I can't be there all the time. Where she was previously, I was constantly getting phone calls and there were constant problems and I was always worried about her. And I didn't realize after we placed Mom here how much more relaxed I am that she's being cared for in a proper humane way which hasn't necessarily happened in the past."

"Wedgewood Gardens facility was clean. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive to their clients. They had a dietician, an RN staff, and a pharmacist assistant on staff. Just a great place, a nice place. My dad did stay there for about five days for respite and he enjoyed that. It was great."

"My room is very comfortable, the food is always tasty, and the staff, and residents in this facility are all very incredible people. The people that work, and live here are my large extended family. In July, 2024 I will be at Green Acre Easy Living for five years."

"Of all the places I've toured, the one I like the most is Legacy Village. I like it because the community was divided into several different houses with 10 members in each house, so it didn’t feel like a hospital setting. The staff was nice, and the residents seemed fine. I saw their calendar of activities, and they have lots of things to do. I would recommend this place. "

"I thought The Meadows Independent and Assisted Living Community was really nice. The facility seemed very nice. My mom liked it and I thought she would consider it at one point in time if she got to that stage. We saw a couple of rooms that were empty. The staff also showed us a room that was occupied to give us a feel of what it would look like with furnishings. The people that we ran into seemed happy to be there. The people running the facility seemed to be cheerful and upbeat. "

"The people were nice at Gardens at Osage Terrace. They gave us a good tour, but I just didn’t like the feel of it. It felt like a big hospital ward, and my mother didn’t want to be in a place that felt like a hospital or a ward. "

"Everything at Primrose Retirement Community of Rogers was amazing. We almost went with that one. Our only reason for not was the price, because it was significantly more than what we're already paying. It was extremely clean. They had a lot of nice amenities. We also got to tour the memory care, and the care was also incredible. It was large, which typically we see just like a hallway for memory care. Everything there was extremely nice. I didn't try their food, but I did get to see it kind of happen. They have what almost looks like a restaurant setup. They get a menu like they would at a restaurant. They try to keep it not so facility like. Everybody was very friendly, very kind, and informational."

"I went to Pinnacle Groves. I liked the style of the rooms. The kitchens were excellent. I thought I would be able to get the amount of storage available in the kitchen and the closets. They don't have extra storage. So, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get all of my furniture and all the items I have in storage boxes into that apartment. The staff explained and showed things. He was willing to take me to multiple apartments to show me, describe the facility, and how to get around elevators, that kind of information. He was very helpful. The restroom that I went into was not in good condition. It was not as clean as it should have been."

"It is OK. They’re taking care of us and that’s what matters. It’s the best around. We have a two-bedroom that looks great. The food is good and better than the kind of food you eat outside. There’s so many things going on. We have different programs. The staff is very good. They come here all the time to check on my wife. "
