Interactions with the staff by the resident and family members is up to par. They are always willing to answer all of your questions and if they don't have an answer they will get one and call you back. The rooms are spacious with lots of light coming in. You have the option to have a stove or not and the bathroom is very large. If you would like the facility to pick up a pre-paid order at Wal-Mart, they provide that service on Fridays. It's fantastic for us as we live out of state. I put the order in at Wal-Mart and pay for it, then a Peachtree employee picks it up and delivers it on Friday. Three meals are provided daily. Every meal includes a hot dish. If you require a special diet then they are able to work with you. I believe any business has room for improvement and that's why I rated Peachtree Village as 4 stars.

I feel confident that my brother is receiving very good care at this facility. The room is always clean and while he does not personally care to participate in activities, his interaction with staff members is always very satisfactory. As his principal family member responsible for his care, I feel confident he is receiving very good care.

I went to Peachtree Village at Holiday Island. I feel like it was very, very thorough. They were very friendly, kind, and just very helpful in looking at the different levels of care that are available. My parents need more help with their health care, to make sure that they have their needs met. It was a nice facility. They had lots of good amenities. My mom does not quite need as much care as my dad. So just for her to have some independence and all that was important for her, that could be a different possibility for them in the future. It's very open and clean and the staff seems very helpful and friendly. And it looks like a definite possibility for them because there was independent living. There was assisted living. There were all the levels of care and all looked like they were clean and professional and had a friendly atmosphere. it just seemed like it was a good experience overall.

I have moved into Peachtree Village at Holiday Island. I decided on them because they allow pets. The staff is extremely kind. I don't think I've found one that didn't take the job as joy. The rooms are very roomy. They are bigger than I expected, and they have a large balcony. The cook has told me that if I didn't like something on the menu, just to tell her and she'd fix me something else, and she did make a very delicious hamburger. I have been here for two weeks now. They have different activities. They do chair exercises, and they do crafts. It's like something every day of the week. The mail comes directly from the post office to our mailbox here.

Peachtree Village at Holiday Island is excellent. They do a very good job with my mom and they are good at communication. They keep me informed and the place is kept very, very clean. They've done a great job during COVID because there have been no cases since. In the first wave, they shut down right away and now again, they're partially closing down. We can still see the residents, but we can't go to their rooms, so we have to see them in a special place they have. They know everybody and I'm very happy with it. We've been in her room before and it was very nice, very light, and very spacious. She's got her little living room, bedroom, and bathroom. They do all her cleaning and the rooms are always clean. They also do her medications, wash her clothes, and if she needs something, they will go to the store for her. Their food is very good too. Then they have an arts and crafts day where they sometimes make cards. One day they had music outside where everybody stayed inside and they just opened the doors so they could hear it. During the different holidays, they decorate the rooms beautifully. If someone doesn't have a door hanging, they'll put a door hanging on there for Christmas. They used to have a special dinner for different holidays and they would let you know so you could reserve a dinner, and then you could go in and eat in the dining room with everybody, but of course, they don't do that anymore because of COVID. When I call up to ask about how my mom is doing, whoever you talk to, they know her. During COVID, she was having some problems about not seeing the family and all that, and when I would call her on the phone, she knew what was going on. So, they keep the residents really informed and they tell them what's going on and why things are being done and they even know little things about my mother. I know my mother real well, so I know that they are looking after her. It's a small facility, it's not real large, and there's upstairs and downstairs. In fact, we're getting her ready to move downstairs because she's getting older and it's just less of a trek when she could be right by the dining room and where it's easier to get out to see people. The girl who is the director of activities, is very enthusiastic and always thinking of things that can get the residents to come down and enjoy themselves there. They even do silly stuff with the staff, like on certain days they'll dress the staff up with funny hats or something.

I don't know where to even begin to thank the staff of Peachtree Village Holiday Island for their loving care and support they have provided for both my Mom and our family as we have begun this next chapter in Mom's life. We moved Mom into Peachtree 4 months ago. The Peachtree team helped us to not only manage the logistics of such a move, but the emotional aspects surrounding such a big change in all of our lives. As a family, we applaud the leadership and staff for their unwavering guidance, their patience (both with Mom and with us kids), their absolute professionalism and the strong sense of security they have provided for us all. Prior to moving to Peachtree Village Holiday Island, Mom's cognitive testing scored 18 on a scale of 1-30...the higher the score the better. At our physician's recommendation we all made the decision together that Mom should not be living on her own. Our hope was that the structure and professional guidance would enhance her daily life and comfort. Now, 4 months later, Mom scored a 23 on the same test! The only change we made in her care was Peachtree Village Holiday Island. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Through Peachtree, Mom has found her new "home"...that place where she feels like she fits in and is comfortable. Through Peachtree, our family has found that comfortable "home" we all like to go when we want to spend time with our Mom. Thank you!

Peachtree Village was very nice. The tour director and the administrator did a great job and seemed to be very caring. I know they take them to town and were having a party while we were there.

I have a friend at Peachtree Village and we were able to visit her today. Each one of the residents has her own bedroom, bathroom, dining room and kitchen combination. The residents have their choice of eating in the room or in their dining hall. They have room cleaning service on a weekly basis. If they chose, they can turn over their medications to the staff. It has worked out very nicely for what they are offering. Their food is excellent. While we were there, they have a singing group that came in and the residents were out listening to that.
