There has been rampant theft of my mother's foods/sodas that are purchased by family for her pleasure. Sad that I cannot provide her with a little happiness because of this.

We will be moving my aunt into Encore at West Little Rock today. We chose it for its convenient location. It also has a great staff. They provide skilled nursing, and the facility is nice and clean.

This place is horrible. My mom's things are missing all the time. She has to wait extend periods of tine for her light to be answered and the majority of the staff are rude. I've heard nurses and aides laughing loudly in the halls and freely discussing others who live there by name. The administrator is a joke. She was the nursing supervisor and somehow fell into this roll. I pay attention when I visit and Ive heard her in the business office complaining about staff. It's like this place is run by high school girls. As soon as something comes open I'm getting mom out.

The people at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation are wonderful, but their rooms are small and shared. Mom does not do a whole lot of activities, but they have bingo, crafts, outings, manicures, and a beauty salon. I would definitely recommend this community. I wish their rooms were bigger, but I guess there's nothing they can do.

The staff of Pleasant Valley seems to be pretty friendly. When you walk in the place, you are not overwhelmed with an odor. They seem nice, and they seem to be taking good care of my mother. I don't like the bathroom that is inside the room because the toilet is so close,, and that makes it hard to close the door. The room has got a couple of twin-sized beds and some nightstand and a dresser that they share. When she first went in there, it really didn't go that well because we dropped off on a Friday, and I didn't return there until a Monday so that she would understand that this is where she is going to be and nobody is going to be coming to pick her up. She's got dementia. The thing that got me was they provided toothpaste and a toothbrush for her. I provided toothpaste and a toothbrush for her and neither one of them had been used. But, I gave them a piece of my mind, and things got a lot better.

This is a really nice pleasant small facility. I went to visit a friend at this particular facility, and I was very impressed with how clean the facility was. Her room was nice a spacious and she had lots of privacy. Her room was really nice and clean and she told me that housekeeping come to clean her room daily and if other assistance is needed someone is always available to help. While visiting with her; we went for a walk and everyone appeared to be happy. And the staff members were really nice and pleasant. The facility had three different sitting areas for guest and people that live there. The front entrance sitting area really caught my attention because it was right by the front door and people could see who leaving and entering the building. Also, the building has a code for entrance which is really safe. I really like the location of the facility as well because it's located in a nice shady pleasant area. The outside area is really nice and I was told that many people usually visit with each other outside on a daily basis when the weather is nice. And my friend mentioned that they even have BBQ outside/inside, which I thought was really nice. The dinning area was really nice and clean. The dinning room area reminded me of a banquet hall because of the cloth that was placed on each table. Over all, I really enjoyed visiting my friend and I was happy to know that she enjoyed living here and it made her feel like she was at her old home. Also, the name pleasant is a really good indication because the facility is really nice and pleasant.
