My friend moved to Holiday Andover Place. It's clean and in a safe neighborhood. They were very inexpensive compared to other places. The staff impresses me. I have tried the food. It's an institutional food, but it was well prepared. The salad was cold and the meal was hot. It was quite nice. My friend's apartment is quite adequate.

I toured Holiday Andover Place. The staff who gave the tour was really informative. The places are really nice. It's just I want to continue to cook for myself, so I need my own kitchen. The placement manager took me around and showed me two different apartments. I also reached out to the guy who does the activities, and he was a very outgoing and friendly person, too. The place is nice and clean. Everything is in its place. The people I ran across were very friendly and helpful.

Holiday Andover Place was great. It was fantastic. I love it. It's very, very nice, but I don't know if I have enough money. It was very clean, very nice, and well put out. The apartments were very spacious. The staff members who gave the tour were great. I had a sandwich and it was great. They showed me a sample room, and it was very nice.

I toured Holiday Andover Place. I love the scenery. I love the apartment. I love apartment living because it's not like a nursing home. It is independent living. They have their own apartments, complete with a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. They have balconies. They can walk out to the balcony and they have made this a roundabout, and that is your entire space. You have the key to your own apartment. They have medical staff available. They have a laundry facility where the residents can go and do their laundry. They have laundry facilities on every floor. They've prepared the meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Then they have snacks throughout the day on every floor. If you don't want to eat downstairs in the dining room, you can also have your meals brought to your room. I love that as well. They also have a little kitchenette, but they don't have stoves. They have refrigerators in their apartment. They also have crafting and outings. They have those types of activities for the elderly to do. The staff was nice and pleasant. I had lunch with them and it was awesome. They came out and they introduced themselves and it was amazing. It was remarkable. It was great. The food was good. They have a library. They have a gym. It's like a total exercise room and that was remarkable. They have a facility for veterans. The staffing was awesome. The people were very friendly.

I went to look at Holiday Andover Place. Everybody was friendly, helpful, and caring. The thing I like the least is that it's more like an apartment. It's all in one building. They had all the amenities I would have wanted. The facility is extremely clean and appealing.

I wouldn't consider Holiday Andover Place at all. They're under repair from the tornado, but they needed to update for a long time, and it's going to take a lot more than what they're putting into it. The person showing it was very knowledgeable and very nice. I went on a tour with some other people, and she was very aware of their physical needs. I found some extra information just from her talking to people with needs, so that was very nice. I don't think I liked anything about it. I liked the staff as she was trying to make the best of a bad situation, but everything needed to be fixed up. I saw the rooms that were getting fixed up, so there was fresh paint. The dining area was okay, though. There were very few amenities. They had very few pieces of exercise equipment. They had one little room that was for people who like to do puzzles. It was just a lower scale of things that I had seen. It has been around for a long time, so they probably just needed to stay on top of updates, but they didn't.

Holiday Andover Place was a good location. The rooms were spacious. They had transportation services, a van, that they offered residents to take them to doctors and other things like shopping. There were laundry services available. The staff was very nice and helpful. He took his time to show me around and gave me a very thorough tour. The dining area had exterior lighting and lots of windows. It was spacious. It was a pleasant dining area. They were repairing some damage from the tornado, so there were some things that they had to fix.

What I liked least about Holiday Andover Place was the age of the facility. The facility is very clean and accessible, but a little dated. I didn't like that they had too many floors. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Their food is seasoned, not bland.

We visited Holiday Andover Place. The guy that helped us was very friendly, and we really liked him. If we had not gone to the facility my mom is in, we would have gone there. The apartments were clean. They had some damage from the tornado, but it looked like a nice place. One of the residents spoke to us and commented that my mom would really like living there. Their dining room was nice. They had an exercise room, and I think there was a chapel. They also had a gathering room that was a TV room.

My mother was a resident of Andover Place for 7 months until she passed away at the age of 89. I wish I would have moved her there sooner. It was wonderful seeing her make friends in her 80's. She enjoyed going and eating with her friends every day and still having her own privacy with her own apartment. Walking into Andover Place to visit Mom, just felt like family after I got to know more people. My only complaint would be that the quality of food was very inconsistent. In addition, they would run out of menu items on a regular basis. Another asset to Andover Place is they have on site assistance that you can pay for in addition to the rent to an independent provider. You only set up to pay for the assistance you need, instead of paying like other facilities for things you do not need.

I would describe Andover Place as fairly nice. The rooms were small, which was kind of unexpected because I'm hoping that a queen bed would fit in the bedroom. The staff who accommodated us was excellent. The dining area was very nice, it was like having lunch on a cruise ship. All the apartments there had step-in showers and didn't have tubs, and that's more to accommodate people of my age. They provide an awful lot, they provide cable, all your utilities, and your meals. They provide a cleaning service and they have a place for you to get physical therapy in there, though I asked, it's not happening yet. They had a salon but the salon wasn't operating. The gentleman who helped me was very nice. They have game rooms, a place to work out, they have common areas where people can play games, and a little bit of a library. You didn't have to do a whole lot of walking, and they also provide elevators. The place was beautiful, it's also well kept up.

Andover Place was open and a fun atmosphere. I observed the residents there in group activities and another group preparing to go on a daytrip, so it was fun and active. The facilities were very clean. It had the theme of a cruise ship. There were some areas that had some outdated carpets and paint, and they were in the process of updating some of that. The apartments were very nice.

Our overall impression with Andover Place Independent Living was very good. Mom has already reached a point where she needs additional care that we get through another provider, and we could add that without moving her to a different floor. It was very important to us. The care through that facility has been amazing, and the people there are friendly. She needs a lot of help at this point, and she has been able to sit out with other people and socialize a bit. Everything about the place to this point has been fine. They provide a lot of activities, but my mother hasn't done much of that because she's getting adjusted. Angela has been amazing and helpful; everyone there is helpful (that is what I noticed when I was there). Even though it's not necessarily their responsibility or department, everyone is helping out everyone else. They fill in where they need to, and I was very impressed by that. I think the food is adequate and healthy. I think it's more than enough food. She thought it was fine. I heard others say that they thought the service with the food could be faster; I didn't really have a problem with that. They have an hour to sit there and socialize and still get fed, so I don't see that as an issue.

We went to Andover Place. The visit was good, the staff really nice, we just looked at a couple of the apartments, the dining area, and stuff like that. We just had a short tour. The apartments were smaller than the other place we went to, and the dining room was a lot smaller too. We saw some of the residents, and they were visiting.

We moved into Andover Place a month ago. It's an excellent place, the people who worked there are very good and care about you individually, they learn quickly, and the residents are active, friendly, and outgoing for the most part. It's a great community feeling here, the chef, the food is always very good, they have multiple choices in each meal, and there's always something we could find that we liked. When I don't like something, they take it back and bring me something else. Upkeep is good, house cleaning, and everything like that is excellent. The room is apartment size, they have a variety of rooms, like studios, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedrooms, interestingly designed, and not just square boxes. Everyone has an outside balcony, the floors are either laminated, carpeted, or whatever you want. When you move in they'll put in what you want. We have a lot of activities, we have a director of activities, and she arranges things, from bingo, movie nights, and a bunch of different games, to outings, and arts and crafts. There's a hairdresser on the premises that's very good, housekeeping services, they have excellent cleaners, and they know you. If you need more assistance, they have someone onsite, a separate company, that's available for an extra charge. They always have an excellent breakfast, and they have snacks available throughout the day.

Andover Place was nice, but it was out of our budget. The atmosphere of the place was homey, and the staff members were pleasant, nice, and friendly. The rooms only had kitchenettes, which was something that wouldn't have worked for us. We were looking at the independent living there. The dining room was nice, it was clean, and it had kind of a family atmosphere. They have activities for the residents and they also have an activities calendar posted. They have transportation if people need to go to the doctor or to the grocery store.

My mother only lived at Andover Place briefly. Everyone there was really nice and the facilities appeared to be really nice. It's a good location and it seemed like it was going to be a really good fit for her. The salesperson was very nice, knowledgeable, and the person who helped me with the lease was good. I was pretty satisfied with it. We may be dealing with some contractual issues with them and it would be interesting to see how they handle the situation. If they handled the contract the way I liked them to handle it, because they got over a month and a half rent from us for less than I week stay, I would rate them a five. The way you end the contract sometimes speaks a lot about the company too.

Andover Place isn’t totally assisted living, which makes it a little less expensive, and it’s located right in Little Rock. They did three meals a day. My parents like the meals and the chef. They have a party room, a game room, and a little dance floor. They will provide transportation for them if I can’t assist them to doctor’s appointments. They have a nurse on call that is there all the time if they need any assistance.

Andover Place is convenient to me and my brothers. My loved one has not been totally satisfied there, and I don’t know if it is because they don’t check on her like they had told us that they would, which is beginning to be a problem. It is fine for right now. I ate there one time, and it was fine. They have a chapel and a salon, and activities.

Andover Place was very nice, and everybody seemed to be very happy there. The few bedrooms that we looked at were nice. They seemed spacious and had a little balcony. The property itself was a little dated; it was older. They had a little movie room, a dining hall, and an activity room. We had lunch there, and the food was average. The staff was very friendly, and everybody seemed to really like them.

Andover Place was the best. When we first got there, they were eating lunch, and it was like a restaurant-type setting. The people were very polite. Even the residents would walk by and say hi. I talked to the manager, and she showed me the whole facility. I got to meet the planner that does all the games and the exercise. They had chair aerobics going on on the second floor. We got to see the library. They have apartments that have a balcony, and they are incredible. It’s easy for someone who’s in a wheelchair to go out on the balcony and sit. The bathrooms were very large. The step-in showers were great.

Andover Place was independent living and kind of old. It wasn’t completely what we needed. My parents would have had to use the elevator to go up and down to the cafeteria, which would have been a hindrance. The food looked OK. The people were really nice. We didn’t rule it out because of their atmosphere; we ruled it out because of how it was built. It was really nice, and I would have gone there myself. My parents needed more assistance than was available there. They had healthcare on-site that you could purchase on a need basis, but it wasn’t going to work with my parents at this point in their lives.

My mother is in Andover Place. It's OK, but the meal service is really bad. Each meal takes about an hour and a half and that is very hard for somebody who doesn't hear anything, so she's not going to meals and they charge extra for deliveries. The staff seems nice. I guess they're skilled. The dining room is certainly pleasant enough. She plays bridge with a group, and they have communion once a week. There are a lot of other activities and a library.

Hello, my name is Katie and I'd like to thank you for taking the time to provide us your feedback. We are so happy to hear you found our staff to be nice and skillful, and that your mother has plenty of activities and opportunities for social gatherings and friends. We do, however, regret to hear your comments on her dining experience, but appreciate you sharing nonetheless. Our team works hard to deliver meals individually to each resident, but as you may imagine, serving a 3-course meal to several hundred folk at once does take some time, although we do typically strive for quicker completion. Thanks again for sharing your feedback, it's always great for us when people reach out and let us know when people are doing well in our care, as well as how we can further improve our level of service and offerings.

We need to find a place that is accessible for my father’s wheelchair and so when we visited Andover Place we saw that it would be appropriate for him. Their employees are very friendly. His room is of really nice size for somebody that has a wheelchair. Their activities are great. They do things with them all the time every day. Their dining room is very open which is nice too. It’s not crowded. If we need a place, we would chose this one.

Andover Place was great. I want to convince my grandmother to go there because she wants to stay at home. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the things that we needed to know. They offered to let my grandmother stay there to see if she liked it. Their rooms were very nice, and the bathrooms were awesome and handicap accessible, which was really nice.

For location, I didn’t like Andover Place at all. For old people, the terrain was terrible since it's located on a hillside. It was a nice facility. The tour was very nice, but they’re a little pushy. The staff was cordial, though. When we got there, the person I had an appointment with was at a convention, and she didn’t tell anybody we were coming. They showed us around, and we talked to a couple of residents. I liked the facility, but you don’t want old people climbing up a hill. The rooms were spacious and nice. I was inquiring for my mother-in-law and step-father-in-law.

Johniejjjed, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback. We are so happy to hear you found the rooms and community to be spacious and nice, but were very saddened to hear our location and its surrounding landscape was problematic for your mother-in-law and step-father-in-law. Nonetheless, we do appreciate you taking the time to provide us this feedback, and wish you the very best in your search for senior living!

Everyone at Andover Place was very friendly. It seemed like there were lots of different things that the residents could take part in. It was like an apartment complex where you would be friends with all of your neighbors. I was really impressed with that. Everything was nice; they had nice, comfortable furniture. The dining room was spacious and everything was clean and well maintained. It seemed like a good place. They had an activities calendar, plus impromptu things that the residents do on their own. Plus, it’s cheaper.

I was planning to move to Andover Place. I had eaten there a couple of times. In fact, one of my friends, on my recommendation, moved there and liked it very much. They had since added health care kind of thing, not assisted living per se, but a little bit more care. That made it more attractive. It was a nice facility. It had a lot of natural light. The apartments seemed to be configured more to my liking. They had lots of windows and natural light. The closet space or storage space was quite adequate. I liked the staff very much. Of course, Little Rock was a smaller city than Jacksonville, so it had more of a homey feeling there. The food was delicious. It was quite good. The chef there had worked at one of our finer restaurants for 15 years before moving to Andover. So, his menus were very tasty, made with fresh ingredients, and very good. They offered various activities. Another attraction was that some of the residents there were retired college teachers, musicians, and so on. They got together with their own little group, and they had concerts every Sunday afternoon. They had church services. They had a nice place for the chapel like room, which was good. They had a book club and things of that nature.

Andover Place was a very complicated place. It was in different levels, and it seemed like it was three or four buildings put together. The place had elevators, and the people were kind of nice. They had some game rooms, and there were guys playing games. It seemed like they were doing OK. It seemed like it was nice.

At Andover Place, everyone was very friendly. It was very nice. The apartments looked great. I was impressed with the different type of rooms they have. They have three-bedroom, two-bedroom, and studio apartments. The food was excellent. The dining room was immaculate. They have a theater room and a chapel. They play bingo. They have a shuffle board and a pool table. Regarding security and safety, the doors were locked after 9:00, and no one can come in unless you have a key.

My friend likes the location of Andover Place, and she it enjoyed there. The grounds are OK, and it’s kind of a small unit. All the meals can be done in the dining room, and it's a very nice neighborhood. They have bible study and arts and crafts. They need to update the individual apartments as they are old.

My mother recently feel ill and I was taking care of her for two months but I couldn't continue to take care of her daily because of my work schedule. I was really apprehensive about placing her anywhere. I visited the facility and met Raelin (the manager).Raelin made the visit comfortable, was friendly and gave me/mother a tour of the complex. Raelin went above and beyond to accommodate my family. The facility is clean and the residents/staff were friendly. My mother had been there going on two weeks and she absolutely loves it!! She is very active with the facility activities and I have a peace of mind that she is okay and not in danger. I would definitely recommend Andover!!!!

We have visited Andover Place, and we liked it a lot. The people were very sweet and kind. My friend was able to try it a couple of nights for a trial run. I loved the type of room and setup they have. They have people who lived onsite to help the residents. They also allow pets inside the community, but it is not what she needs right now. It hasn't been a very good fit for her.

Mom hasn't moved in yet, but Andover Place is where she's going. I can already tell you that we loved it. We went to five different facilities, and that was the one that we liked the best. She's going to be independent. We went and had lunch and the food was awesome. All the residents and all the people who worked there made a special effort to speak to my mom and introduce themselves. There were other families there that were sitting with their loved one who was a resident. She played bridge with some of the residents. They have a lot of planned activities and they involve the families a lot. It was more warm, nurturing and homey-like for my mom. It's more like a big community of people who are friends. The accommodations are really nice. They have dances, they shuttle them to shop and to church, just everything that she would want. Within an hour, we knew that that's where she wanted to be.
