"Aspen Creek was very bright, very clean, and wasn’t cluttered. The residents were doing a variety of things instead of sitting in their wheelchairs in front of a TV. It had a good feeling to it. There was a big aquarium to relax near, a dining area, and the TV room. The dining area was very nice and bright. The rooms were nice and bright, clean, and homey. Terry had a nice manner and was very patient and compassionate."

"This is a gorgeous home facility on two city lots. It has a sidewalk which circles it and a horseshoe cement drive for residents to walk. There are nice trees, shrubs, grass, and flowers. The home and grounds are well maintained. They are licensed for 8 residents and directed care. They have been in business over 10 years. It is family owned and operated. The owners live 3 houses away. They do all housekeeping and laundry. They do home cooking with 3 meals and snacks a day. The owner is Italian so food is delicious. They give a variety menu. the rooms are large semi-private rooms which are sunny and nice with three windows in each. each resident has their ow double, mirrored sliding door closet. Each room has a private bath. They are furnished or unfurnished and handicapped equipped. They have a house doctor and several other doctors who come in. They can transport to appointments or arrange. All caregivers are certified. There are three extra caregivers besides the owner and her husband. The staff is very loving and caring. It is a happy atmosphere. They have a beautiful yard with a 93 foot deck. There shade trees and beautiful sunsets. They dom all sorts of activities as bingo, games, exercises, movies, arts and crafts. They do bible study. They have musical entertainment which comes in. They do lots of birthday and anniversary parties. They had a wedding last year. They do huge parties at Thanksgiving, Easter, and Christmas with lots of family involvement. They are planning a big Halloween party. They do outings as well with the residents to take them shopping and to social events. This is a wonderful facility. "

"This is a private home facility licensed for 8 residents. Currently they are only taking 2 ladies. Otherwise they do all three levels of care. The home is very nice and well maintained. The grounds and surrounding area and views are great. there is shrubs, trees, flowers and greenery. They offer housekeeping and laundry service. The rooms will be private and bathroom handicapped equipped. They do home cooking and offer three meals a day and snacks. The food is good and there are choices. This is a very family oriented facility with the owners living onsite. The caregiver is licensed and they have a nurse who comes in. Also, if resident is somewhat ambulatory, they do transport for an extra fee to appointments. The staff seems nice and caring.They have been in business nine years. They do activities as movies and games at home and do outings for shopping,restaurants, and events. this seems like a really nice home. "

"This is a private home facility. The home is nice and well maintained as are the grounds. They are licensed for 6 residents. All bedrooms are private and bathrooms shared. They are handicapped equipped. There is a dining area and living room. They do laundry and housekeeping. All food is home cooked and they try to offer a variety. The food is good . Most residents they take are end of life and hospice type. There is a house nurse who comes in every two weeks and on call. All caregivers are certified. The owners live onsite upstairs. They do not have a house doctor and do not transport. They do have a company they can arrange transport with. The is very caring and it is a family oriented atmosphere. The activities are limited due to the type of residents. They do exercises, have a movie and popcorn day, and other activities are one on one. There is a front porch where the residents can sit outside. This seems a very good facility for these type of residents. "

"Lighthouse Adult Care Home was nice, and it was expensive. My mother had excellent care there. The food was good. It's excellent care. It's a lovely place. The rooms were wonderful. It was a very nice homey situation. The atmosphere was wonderful. My mom stayed there for two years. Everything was wonderful. There was nothing bad about it at all. But there weren't any activities."

"My parents have been in Hilltop Quail Haven for about a week and a half. I’m very happy with it. It’s small and intimate, and my parents get really good, individual care. Their room has a little sitting area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Hilltop Quail Haven can only have up to 10 people, and there are only five right now. They do exercise with them in the morning. All the vets go over to the senior day care, and my dad can go. My mom has severe Alzheimer’s, so she really can’t do anything. My dad needs independent living and my mom needs 24/7 care, so this is one of the places that would take them and keep them together. I would recommend them to others. Everybody I met there is really sweet, and they know me by name when I walk in. They’re really great with them. "

"We found The Meadows of Prescott Valley for my wife. It's only 25 minutes from where I live. We were there for three to four hours. It's a home totally modified to accommodate people who need help. They even have a cabinet in there to heat up towels. You can take a shower sitting down on a chair. They have everything you can think of for people who need the assistance. I was very, very impressed with that. It's hard to tell if they're family members or they're staff, the way they deal with the people. They're very much like a family. They've got a beautiful area in the back, they can walk 'em out, they can walk around it."

"So far, having my father in Touchmark at The Ranch is going well. It was a smart move. The staff is above average, they've been in contact a lot and are trying to do their best despite the COVID situation. He has a nice apartment with a nice view. It's a nice room, nice large bathroom and the facilities are very nice. It's a beautiful facility. My dad doesn't love the food. They're not really doing very many activities right now."

"I was able to visit Highgate Senior Living, and it's a beautiful facility -- almost like a resort. It was very well appointed, and the staff there is very friendly and gracious. They were absolutely wonderful, but it's expensive. My sister went in there for a month, but her husband can't afford to put her there for a long time. My sister loves this facility. Many of the staff members knew her by name and spoke to her. She was very much well-cared for while she was there. The dining area was open to their guests too. I saw the menu, and it was incredible, but I didn’t get to taste the food. My sister loves the food, and I consider that to be really good. They have different activities that they can all do. They have bingo and card games. They have a special theater area, and it almost looks like a movie theatre. I was really impressed, and I haven’t seen a facility as elaborate as this. "

"The Willow Wind Residence assisted living facility was recommended by a friend in the region as an option for our parents. The backyard featured many places for seniors to enjoy around the grounds safely. The property also had plenty of park-like space with tranquil, large trees and nicely manicured lawns. It looked like a very nice, livable community with a home-style atmosphere. We could see that the residents there were content and well cared throughout the facility. We could see as we walked through the building, how the entire interior design was nicely ordered and easy to navigate. Each room had nice views with calming colors and lots of fresh air and light. Activity rooms were spacious, with comfortable furniture. The seniors can easily socialize, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many stimulating activities. Residents can also tend the garden. Each private unit has nice views of the surrounding area. Bathrooms were designed with safety seats and rails. They were all decorated tastefully with a homey, light and airy feel. The food looked and smelled delicious, as well as healthily prepared. The menus included many interesting dishes, as well as the usual American fare. Snacks are offered regularly throughout the day and whenever residents desire them. The main dining room had a comfortable and spacious decor. The residents are offered healthy, home-style cooked meals in a casual restaurant setting and can also enjoy the formal dining room for special events and private parties. The exercise center included daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. The equipment is available throughout the day with supervision as necessary. Residents can also safely navigate the lovely garden paths. The activities calendar included many stimulating things, like nature walks, visits into town for cultural events and the opportunity to enjoy all that Prescott and the surrounding area offers. The facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation.The residents all looked very well cared for by capable staff. All seemed to really enjoy living in this nicely designed senior living environment. "

"I toured Pleasant Valley Care Home. It was a very well-appointed, beautiful facility with big rooms and excellent care, but the problem for us was that they only offered complete apartments with kitchen facilities and everything. My wife was unable to use that sort of thing at the time. The staff was very good and very professional. The atmosphere was cheerful. I did not get to meet many of the patients, except for a couple of them, and they were happy. The layout was great and the size of the rooms was great, but we didn't need anything that big."

"Alta Vista was great. It's a modern and upscale, higher-end place. I just met the marketing person, but I did observe some staff helping the residents. I liked that they were wearing uniforms and were very clean and looked more like a traditional caregiver. That was nice. The marketing person was very helpful, very informative, and explained all of the different options and activities. They have a beauty salon, a movie theater, and a club room where there was a lot of clubs meeting. They had an exercise room, and there was a computer room where people were doing a lot of puzzles and playing some kind of card game. That place had a lot of activities. I just saw a video of the room. They were too full, so I wasn't able to see a room. We got to tour everything but an actual room because they were all full. It was very modern and well-kept. The grounds were beautiful. It looks like a great place for active people."

"My husband and I live in Good Samaritan Society-Prescott Village. It is an excellent place to live and we like every part of it. We have all kinds of activities that are going on. We have exercise classes, dinners and speakers, a pool room, a library, and a clubhouse. We are very, very pleased with our casita. We have housekeeping that comes every two weeks. We do our own cooking, but we can eat in the dining room and there's a charge for that. Maintenance is excellent. We also have a library and different activity areas. We have jigsaw puzzles set up in one room, a chapel, and a little store where you can buy cards and little gifts."

"Las Fuentes Resort Village has natural springs that water the gardens, which are beautiful. The rooms are lovely too. They are quite expensive though. The food is excellent there, but it is not part of the room rent. You can eat there if you want, or you can prepare your own meals in your room. The meals are not expensive -- it is more like fine dining -- but you don't have to pay the price that fine dining would cost. "
