My mother in law spent the last three years of her life with Fishers, and had excellent care throughout. She was loved and cared for as though she were family. I cannot express our gratitude for the quality care she received there. She had dementia, and toward the end she didn't even recognize us.

O.K. care but nothing special. The facility was not family friendly. They prefer a one-person visit and seem to crave control once a family member is there. Seems more like a place the operators can try to convert residents to being Babtist in their final days. Never once saw residents allowed outside. I guess that would be too much trouble. All in all, I would rather have chose a place that relishes residents rather than the business end of it.

We found this facility to not be grandchildren friendly. Management does not have proper communication skills. Instead of communicating professionally to resolve problems, false accusations were made about grandchildren just to ban them from"ever seeing their granny". We found management to be confrontational, hurtful, incorrigible to tears though we nicely tried to work out a deal for one kid to see granny at a time. Our complaints to an ombudsman led to threats to kick granny out & got us banned. The relative who has power of attorney couldn't move her, caved into management, told us to comply and not fight for visitation. Unreasonable visiting hours limited from 10am-11:30am; 2pm-4pm.
