The facility did what they could. My aunt was suffering a lot and wasn't necessarily the most pleasant to deal with. A couple of the nurses became frustrated with her but quite frankly I understand. She had been on morphine for a while and they couldn't give her high enough of a dose to eliminate her pain completely which made everything worse. The hospice did what they could and tried to make her comfortable which is about as much as I could ask for. Personally they were always great to me and did a good job talking to my mom who is a nurse and often critical of medical care. My mom was satisfied with the medical care my aunt received which is about as good of an endorsement as I can give. We were allowed to visit when we wanted to for the most part. Overall I feel the nurses kept her comfortable but in the end it was obvious some were becoming frustrated with my aunt. While I understand, that frustration didn't necessarily help my aunt get through her final days which is still a bit frustrating.
