They could be more reliable. There have been a few bumps here and there. They could hire more qualified aides who can take care of handicapped clients.

They help the most by providing a meal and putting it in front of him. The employees aren't always prompt. A lot of them are late. We had an issue with someone who was late all the time and my dad told her to leave and she hasn't come back.

The nurses were very helpful in staying with her every night. My difficulties came from the invoice system and the fact that they did not process the payment like I asked. I also was not aware of a credit card fee that was associated with a credit card payment. They offered an amendment for this fee, but they never got back to me and never returned my call.

It depends on who they send. I've had them for three weeks and they still have not been able to send me a schedule for who's coming and when. Even though I've emailed them directions on how to get to our house; they don't seem to give the directions to the caregivers. The caregiver was almost an hour late because she had the wrong apartment number. It's kind of frustrating. They need to improve communication.

I'm in a hospital bed and am unable to walk and when I was in the hospital for surgery they were very short-staffed. They did not have anyone to help me get to the bathroom. They put a diaper on me. So the caregiver has to help keep me cleaned up I also have a colostomy bag and they help me with that. They help me with hygiene. To help with post-surgical needs. I would recommend them because I have been pleased. The reason I chose them is because they offered two-hour care sessions. Some companies have a minimum of four. I don't usually fill the entire two hours. There was only one other company that I talked to I was in a rehab hospital and when it came time for discharge I knew I would need care at home because I had a wound that needed care. A lot of companies needed four houses but I chose Brightstar. They lived up to their end of the deal.

The caregivers we have now are outstanding. My mom has a comfort level with them. When we started out we were both learning about each other. They should find a way to ensure that their employees are reading about the care and understand it before they come on site. We use 2-3 caregivers now. Jessica and India are outstanding. It is nice to have someone there, so that I don't have to be there every single day. There has been one aide we have had issues with. The one aide arrived late. The person who's shift she was relieving would be upset. Sometimes you get bad apples. The rest of the aides have been super.
