My mother was reluctant to have 24/7 care. My brother and I were convinced she needed it. Terri came and spoke to all of us just so we could have all the information we needed to make a good decision. My brother and I were certain we were making the right choice and with the right provider. My mother took longer to decide and Terri was amazing and flexible and worked with us. It turned out to be a fabulous decision and made the last few months of my mothers life much easier for everyone. We could just enjoy being together as a family and the Griswold caregiver took care of everything else from monitoring visitors to taking care of my mothers hygiene needs. In addition the caregiver was wonderful with the family. Engaging when appropriate and in the background when appropriate. I can’t thank Terri or our provider enough.

We worked with the Griswold team during the last few months of our mother's life. As our mother lost her independence, home care became more and more essential. We eventually moved to 24 hour in-home care to support her activities of daily living. Anita was a wonderful, kind, and compassionate caregiver, and also a great companion. My sister and I were able to sleep at night and continue on in our lives knowing that our mother was in good hands. Having Anita in our mom's home also meant that our time with our mother could be quality time, rather than time spend worrying about keeping her clean and fed. I really can't recommend Anita highly enough and I was so glad that she was available for these last critical months of our mother's life. The team at Griswold was similarly helpful and communicative in arranging for Anita to move in with our mother and in making sure that it was a good fit. When Anita needed a few days off, Terri found an alternative who fit in seamlessly. In truth, I don't know how families manage the challenging end of life care without the support of someone like Anita through organizations like Griswold.

We were in need of emergency care for my father with dementia about 3 months ago. Terri from Griswold immediately called me (during a weekend) to explain how they could help. She was able to connect us with a wonderful caregiver in a few days. Anita, our caregiver, is professional and experienced and knowledgeable and provides our family with peace of mind. We have had one dedicated caregiver which is important for someone with dementia. We have found that everyone at Griswold is caring, dedicated and dependable, and fully responsible to our requests. They are there 24/7 to support us.

I have only great things to say about our interactions with Griswold Home Care in Philadelphia. Buckle up, as this may be a long review. My mother was being discharged from a rehab hospital after a spinal surgery and we needed a home care solution. Our first contact was with Terri who took the time to understand our specific needs and concerns. After our first phone call we all felt a sense of relief, confident that our coverage problems would be solved. Terri arranged for us to have a single caregiver who was willing to work daily for a five hour period. No other agency we spoke with was able to provide us with this option. Not only that, Janet, our caregiver, was competent and professional, knowing when to be engaged with mom and when to give her space. Mom felt a sense of agency which helped her overcome other challenges caused by her lack of independence. Griswold made a major concern disappear. That was a blessing for mom and all who love her so much. Selecting Griswold as our care provider was a great decision on our part. I HIGHLY recommend them for you as well.

We have been a client of Griswold for a year and a half, starting with multiple shifts then converting to having a live in care-taker. Starting service with Griswold was effortless and with everything else going on in our lives it removed a huge burden. We had excellent dedicated caregivers here on shifts then decided to have a live in caregiver. Working with Ron and the staff again was an easy process and they proved to be great matchmakers. Having C. here was an answer to our prayers. It is so comforting to have someone dedicated, professional, compassionate and smart. She is so in tuned to my husband she can tell with a glance what he needs without a word being said. It's given us such peace of mind knowing that we are safe in her hands. Because of her experience she has also made recommendations that have saved us time and money. Physical therapists that came to our home recommended buying a new recliner for my husband because his was so low he had difficulty getting into or out of it. The problem was the chair was very expensive and buying a new one was not an option. I obsessed over this until C recommended getting a platform for the chair. she spoke with our maintenance team and the next day the chair was on a platform at the perfect height for him. We have laughed and cried together and I know our life is better because of her I can go on with doing what I need to do and have to go out of town but I know all will be well I like that I can call Terri, Ron and Teena and get any questions answered. I appreciate that Terri is available to visit and review our needs going forward as well as keeping us up to date with what's happening with the rest of the Griswold family
