We found a match with Visiting Angels within a matter of days. The caregiver does a little bit of everything. She'll make meals, clean, or run errands, whatever my grandmother couldn't do. She comes in 3-4 times a week depending on how much she's needed. We chose them because I'm comfortable with their service and their standards in choosing a caregiver.

We are working with Visiting Angels. They just come in twice a week. They bathe my mom, they take her to appointments, they make her bed, and they spend some time with her three times a week. We got rid of the first caregiver. The office staff is really good, but like everybody else they're having trouble finding people. We asked them for a new caregiver that's supposed to meet with my mom. The first caregiver was OK, but she did not walk my mom up to the door when she brought her back from an appointment. I feel that my mom needed somebody to be by her, at least in case she fell or stumbled. They're trying the best. They're doing OK.
