There are many services and programs that are low-cost or free, that enable seniors to enjoy an independent lifestyle in the comfort of their own home, such as help with home modifications, meal delivery services, and more. Below, we’ve compiled a few of the most helpful resources in Eugene:

Depending on the project, the maximum assistance is $10,000. Grants, which don’t need to be repaid, are available up to $5,000. Coverage includes failure of electrical, plumbing or heating systems, leaking roofs and home security. To be eligible, property owners should not earn more than 50% of the area’s median income.
